(Trigger Warning: Mortuary discussion)
"I see you've broken your coffee mug, again." (Y/n) sighed as she entered into his office.
"I dropped it by accident while working."
"Uh-huh, and the coffee stain on your wall is just an artistic choice?"
Wally turned in his chair and looked at the large splattered stain on the wall. He sighed before turning around.
"It's better than the entire office."
"I'll give you that," She placed a new mug on his desk.
He studied it, picking it up, perfect for his large hands, "Is that a cat on the side?"
"I figured it would stop you from destroying it next time."
Wally paused, "Possibly..."
"Just take care of this one. It's even bigger than your last one to feed into your caffeine addiction." (Y/n) smiled.
"It's appreciated, (Y/n)." He smiled at her. "I'll need you at the loading docks today to review the shipments coming in. We had several mistakes last time."
"Give those new kids some slack, it's not easy."
"I expect perfection here."
"Oh, I'm sorry, Mr. Perfect." She teased him, "I'll get right on it though. If you need me just send a text."
"Will do, (Y/n). I will see you shortly."
(Y/n) began walking out of his office but stopped, "Oh, one more thing."
Wally raises a brow looking up from his desk, "Is something wrong?"
"You know it's funny, someone had access to camera 435 about two days ago."
"I'm not familiar with that camera, where is it located?"
"435 happens to be the camera in the medicinal unit located in the old recovery room. You know the one we use for storage now?" Her eyes stared him down.
He adjusted his voice, "...I'm...not too familiar... you have more knowledge to these things than I do."
"Oh, that's funny, because it said your computers were linked to the camera, isn't that weird?"
Wally didn't answer but simply stared at her for several moments, "That is strange."
"Must have been a glitch in the system, you know these fancy computers. I'm just glad I have access to every camera and computer in the factory, to make sure that doesn't happen again." The sarcasm rolled off her tongue like a second language as she spoke to him without fear, but a gentle warning that she knows.
"Your work is appreciated." He stared at her holding off any emotion.
"See you later, Wally." (Y/n) walked off closing the door behind her.
This was the most subtle way to make sure he didn't go after Dr. Joy.
OoOoOoOoOoO
(Y/n) worked down at the docks as shipments came in for the week. With a small hand held machine she would scan the bar codes and read through what was in the shipment. The machine would then match it up in the system, the small light in the corner blinking green for a match.
It wasn't a hard job, but a tedious job. The hard part came in when items were delivered by accident that weren't on the list. There was an entire "return" process was a headache.
This occurred a few hours in when (Y/n) scanned a box.
"Formaldehyde?"
She stared down at the name which didn't come up on the inventory list. There were many boxes on the crate filled with the substance.
