"(Y/n)." Wally opened the door to her office allowing himself inside.

"Is knocking not a thing anymore?"

"I don't need to knock, listen."

"Listening." She continued to type away on her computer.

"I'm meeting with my lawyer today so I'll be out of the office for a good portion of the day."

"What is some family trying to sue you again?" She joked looking up at him, however, he didn't look pleased by it. "Oh wait it's serious."

"Divorce lawyer."

"Oh, oh... Is there...anything you want me to do while you're gone, specifically?"

"Keep an eye on things in the lab. There are several subjects going in today for evaluations on previous injections they received. Just see to it they're evaluated properly before returning them to their cells."

"Right, sure. It'll let you know how it goes." She nodded. "Is there anything else?"

"I want a cup of coffee in my new quarters for when I get back. I'll give you a heads-up when that happens."

"Alright, Mr. Darling. I'll make sure that all gets done."

He began leaving but stopped, "Oh, also, head over to the infirmary for your exam."

"I don't need an exam I'm fine. That was a week ago."

"That's not an option (Y/n). I want reports when you're finished. I'll see you later." He waved before leaving her office.

"tHaT's nOt An OpTiOn." She mocked him under her breath. "I'm fine."

It wasn't long after he left she went to the infirmary herself to get evaluated. Nothing had changed, but he requested this daily until he knew for sure she was okay. He had a funny way of showing he cared about her, aggressive caring she considered it.

"Everything is normal as far as I'm concerned, no extra tests are needed, however, are you still having those migraines since the event?" The nurse asked.

(Y/n) sighed, "I have headaches but nowhere near the migraines."

"Alright, keep taking that medication I gave you for it."

She stood up from the small table, "Listen let's keep this between us. If Wally asks I'm in perfect health and I'm healing well."

"Besides the headaches, you are generally healthy. Your injuries are healing fast and your cognitive function didn't change despite the fall." She smiled, "You think I'd be the one to tell him you still get headaches? Yeah right."

(Y/n) smiled and said her goodbyes to the nurse. It was time to take care of daily duties.

The factory was set up into three sectors. Sector one was the residency of all the workers. If you worked there you lived there. This was also the entrance of the building. Recreational areas, a gym, and other humanly needs were located in this area. Sector two were the offices, and there were a lot. Here was where they also kept the storage. Finally, the actual laboratory which was section 3 and the largest section of the building. This is where the work was done, studied, experimented, and housed all the test subjects. It was also the busiest part of the building as there were always projects going on.

(Y/n) was tasked with making sure it ran smoothly today, however, she did this every day regardless of Wally asking. Today would be more thorough.

Workers greeted her with smiles and waved as well as small conversations, she was the good side to Wally if he had any. (Y/n) was easy to talk to and approached things with compassion and understanding rather than anger and outbursts.
