Omer's POV:
at 9pm we've finally arrived in Florida, no thanks to the delayed departure which was a total of 4 1/2 hrs in the end. I put Hartlyn in her stroller then let Lucy do the blanket duty as I grab the cases.
"So what do we say when we check in for the duration?"
"Babe have you not seen my father? They're gonna treat us like royalty and will let us stay as long as we like"
"Maybe they'll let us stay forever" I smile
"Hartlyn would love that" she smiles
Disneyland
We arrive at the Saratoga Springs resort and spa and check in for a week but we have told them it may be longer. Lucy was right, they're cool with it and we got the treehouse villa which is awesome. I put Hartlyn in the crib and then I go to have a quick shower and straight to bed.
Lucy's POV:
"Disney Disney Disney" Hartlyn repeats running around the room smiling
Everyone dreamt of going to sleep and waking up in Disneyland as kids and here's Hartlyn who's just experienced it. We've planned to see the animals this morning and then we're going to go on the many adventures of Winnie the Pooh. I finished getting dressed then we head out to see the animals. After we saw the animals we get Hartlyn the crocodile from Peter Pan as a baby plushie then we head over to Winnie the Pooh.
2 weeks after returning home
I hand Hartlyn her bowl of apple slices then I continue making Omer's sandwiches.
"Babe your Dad is here"
"Hey" I smile as they both enter the room "want a sandwich?"
"No thank you" Dad smiles taking a seat on the bar stool
I nod ok and hand Omer's his then I take a bite out of my own
"How was Disney?"
"It was great, Hartlyn loved it. Didn't want to leave"
"Aww bless her. I thought I'd come and see you seeing as you've been back for 2 weeks and I've heard or seen nothing from you"
"Sorry about that, I've been busy with sorting stuff out in regards to Omer's work and I couldn't be dealing with Amanda at the same time"
"She truly is sorry Luce"
"I know, I do forgive her. She is my sister after all but words hurt Dad and you know that"
"I know they do, but she's family and we need family"
"I'll forgive but it won't be for at least another week once I got other problems all sorted"
He nods ok and changes the conversation topic. Deep down I've actually missed Amanda, we all make mistakes. We get sucked in by our 'mother' then we see the true colours afterwards. Amanda just saw it longer afterwards than I did.
