It's my last day at UA.
I don't want to leave.
I opened the door to 1-A and stepped in.
For the last time.
Once again, I was the only one there.
Aizawa was sitting on the floor, on his phone.
I didn't get a good look at all of what he was doing. Probably texting Mic.
"Texting Mic?" I asked.
"Aria, shut up"
"Hey! I'm a minor! You can't talk to me like that!"
"So are the rest of the students here"
"But I'm eleven. Not fifteen"
"You're over ten, i don't want to hear it"
I got out of my seat and walked up to him.
"I'll see you at nine, it's a date?" I quoted from the text message on Aizawa's phone.
"This is none of your business," he said.
"He's texting back!" I exclaimed. "Eggplant emoji, eggplant emoji, eggplant emoji?"
"You weren't supposed to see that"
"It's fine. I was a therapist for my friends. I've seen much worse in children in my generation"
"That's weird for kids your age"
"Not really"
Everyone started walking in the room, and I smiled and walked back to my seat.
For the last time.
Aizawa rose from the floor once everyone was sitting in their seats.
"We've been called to help out at a villain attack site since earlier this morning. You're training for rescue, not fighting. If you need help, go to Aria, not me" Aizawa directed us.
"Why me?" I asked.
"Because you know more than any of us"
"Why can't the recovery girl go?" Bakugou asked.
"Because if you're going to become heroes, you need rescue skills too, not just fighting villains," Aizawa said. "It's also Arias last day here, so maybe congratulate her or something before the end of the day"
We made our way to get our hero suits on.
I decided not to wear my Spiderman suit. Too flashy.
I put on the training suit and headed outside.
For the last time.
We headed out to the bus taking us to the site.
For the last time.
I sat next to Midoriya because he was the only seat available.
He's a dumb bitch.
And a crybaby.
But that's all the positive things.
I could say much more.
Like how he ate fucking hair.
You can't digest hair.
Your body can't break down keratin, so he probably just shat it out.
I looked at my wrist.
It had a 2 on it.
I have two life's left. Or is it three? I have two, 2 and 1, and then after zero, I'm dead? I don't know.
I looked out the window the whole time after that.
"Hey Aria, good job here!" Mina called out from the back of the bus.
"Good job Aria!" Everyone called out too.
The bus came to a halt. We stopped before a scene that looked depressing.
Broken glass everywhere, half standing buildings, and blood splattered on the ground.
"This is depressing," Mineta said. He said what we were all thinking.
I got off the bus.
For the last time.
I approached the scene where everyone was supposed to be.
I saw a group of kids and started walking towards them.
"Where are your parents?" I asked them.
"Inside!"
"They told us to get out before they did!"
"Are they alive?!"
"What building?" I asked.
They pointed to a building that was fully intact.
They must have been scared.
"What happened?"
"There was fire!"
A fire quirk? Maybe there was more than one villain.
I went inside the building they pointed to and started looking for people.
If the parents never got out, maybe they passed out from smoke inhalation.
The building doesn't look too damaged or burned, so I doubt they were engulfed in flames and burned.
"Hello? My name is Aria. If you can hear me, please call out. I'm here to help you!" I called out.
"Help!" A voice said. "My wife isn't waking up!"
I followed the voice of an older man next to another older woman, who was unconscious on the ground.
"Do you know what happened?" I asked the man.
"The fire!" He said. "She tried to get our grandkids out before she got out. Will she be okay?"
I put my fingers to her neck and tried feeling for a pulse.
I reached for my first aid kit, and grabbed a timer.
1….5……9……13….20…..34….
Thirty-four times two.
"She'll be fine. Her pulse is normal. Sixty eight"
"How old are you really? You can't be a UA student, can you?"
"It's my last day at UA. I was separated from my family during an event, and i stayed at UA until getting adopted"
"Do you need any help?"
"Get her out of here and ask the rescue team for either a narcan or an ammonia packet"
"What are those?"
"Save questions for the rescue team"
I continued up the stairs to find more people.
I searched every floor.
"Is anyone here?" I called out. " My name is Aria, and I'm here to help"
I found the carcass of what was left of what seemed to be a burnt body of a woman.
The floor was still on fire, and the decomposition coming from the body was making me gag.
I walked back down the stairs and out the building.
The kids were gone, and I was still gagging from the smell.
"HELP!" I heard a voice call loudly from a building In Front of the one I had just exited.
Bakugou groaned and walked towards the building the screams had come from.
"I hate rescue"
"I like it more than fighting. It's interesting to see the injuries people go through. In a nice way of course"
"So can't you just do it?"
"I'll need help, but i can do most of it"
The building was stable enough to go in, but I still had my doubts.
He scoffed and we walked into the building.
"HELP!" We heard again.
In the building, we saw a woman with blonde hair, in business attire, as if she had just come from a meeting.
"Ma'am, what seems to be the issue?"
I looked at her arm, and saw that her elbow had been severely dislocated.
"Bakugou, go get another person, this is really bad" I told him.
"What even happened?" He asked.
"Her elbow is very dislocated. Go!" I shooed him. " Ma'am, can I examine your arm? It looks bad"
She nodded in pain.
Something was off about her.
Her hair was changing colors. Blonde to blue, blue to pink, pink to green.
I ignored it, it was just her quirk.
Her elbow was like rubber.
She winced when I touched her arm.
It must really hurt.
"Ma'am, what happened?"
"I fell while trying to get down the stairs because of how crowded it was! Can't you get me some drugs to help with the pain?" She asked.
Drug seeking Behavior?
If it was dislocated as badly as it is, the circulation would be cut off. She shouldn't be able to feel as much of the pain.
"Rate your pain on a scale from one to ten please" I  said.
"Eleven! I'm in pain!"
Eleven wasn't an option.
Either she's in unbearable pain, or she wants drugs.
Bakugou came back with a person with more supplies.
"Let's go. There's nobody else here"
"I'm not going with you, freak. You're smart enough to do it yourself"
I wandered off into a building.
"THEY FOUND A NOMU AND THEY NEED HELP FIGHTING IT!" Someone called out.
I stepped out of the building and saw Nomu in a dead end.
"Oh shit" I whispered to myself.
I hear people in the buildings over there. I don't even have a quirk.
I can't help.
I'm never able to help.
I sneak past the Nomu, seemingly without being noticed.
I watched Bakugou look at me as I walked in.
He looked nervous. Weird. He's always mad and loud, not nervous and quiet.
I saw a woman. She had brown hair and was wearing clothes that made her look like she might be a doctor.
"Ma'am, are you alright?" I asked.
"I'm fine, just a cut on my head" She replied.
She seemed fine, she was responding well, and was still standing.
As I approached her, I noticed her eyes were yellow, almost cat-like.
"Are you a doctor?" I asked.
"No," She replied.
"What do you do?" I asked, trying to get answers so I could calm down and stop worrying.
She laughed menacingly.
"What do you do?" She repeated the question back to me in a snarky tone.
"I currently don't do anything. This is my last day at UA, and they put me on a rescue team to help people"
"You want to be a doctor, don't you?" She asked.
"Diagnostician, only the one that pays off for what I know"
"Well how about you tell me your name, and I'll tell you mine?"
"Sure. I'm Aria"
"Aria? I'm Himiko"
"Pretty name"
"How old are you?"
"Eleven"
"You're not as smart as I thought you were"
"What?"
"Doesn't Himiko ring a bell?"
I thought.
"Shit"
"Now you know?"
She started to melt.
Toga.
"NOW!"
Toga rushed out of the building, leaving me behind.
"What the hell?" I asked myself.
The building shook as I turned around.
The ceiling started to crumble.
Pieces of debris and dust started falling.
Dust filled my lungs and I collapsed to the floor.
From what I could see from the window, Bakugou was still fighting Nomu.
So was everyone else.
Nobody noticed.
Aizawa came and started fighting the Nomu too.
He looked through the window. A large piece of ceiling came down and covered the window.
I was trapped.
I couldn't breathe.
There was fire again, outside of the glass door.
Nobody noticed me.
I'm going to die here.
Alone.
I'll lose a life.
That leaves two.
What if something else happens?
I'm wheezing, if that.
My brain isn't getting enough oxygen to function.
I can hear my heartbeat.
I closed my eyes.
