(sorry all the chapters have been super short, I don't have much motivation anymore and I've been really busy recently)

[Aria PoV]

It felt weird to walk alone with Cayden. Not in general, but after what happened. After he tried to kill me. Unsuccessfully, of course, and I forgive him to an extent. He's the only person I have left, after all.
"It's right up ahead. I'll be upstairs in toga's room"  Cayden says. "Second door on the left"
He opens the door, Shigaraki stands in the frame.
"Can't come in, we're having a meeting with the hassaikai" Shigaraki says.
"The what?" Cayden asks, confused.
"Eri" I whisper.
"What?" He asks.
"Nothing" I reply.
"So what is the hassaikai?"
"The eight precepts of death"
"The eight what what what?"
"Precepts of death. Basically an organization lead by Kai chisaki or something. He's holding this girl names Eri hostage and using her to make quirk erasing bullets"
"Huh"
"Huh?"
"Sounds kinda fun"
"You are a sick, sick person"
"And I can live with that"
"Do you wanna come in?" Shigaraki asks.
"Do you promise not to touch me?"
"I promise, they don't"
"Fine"
I walk in, Hawks' wings making it obvious he was there.
"Didn't expect to see you here, Aria" Hawks says, turning around from his conversation with Dabi.
"Yeah, I'm here for the festivities. Just kidding. Cayden dragged me along because he's siding with the league now"
"Wait, you mean the one we all think has a thing going on with Toga?"
"Blonde, emo?"
"Holy shit. And he's your age?"
"Yeah"
I sat down on the couch next to hawks.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, I just don't really trust Cayden anymore. Now that he's with the villains"
"That's not it"
"What?"
"He did something to you, didn't he?"
"What-? No, no no no, he didn't do anything. It's just I'm a hero, and if he's-"
"Aizawa told me everything" Hawks said.
"Oh"
"Let me guess. Cayden was the one that did it"
"Yeah, but he apologized. Sort of, and I accepted that half assed apology because he's my friend"
I stood up.
"I have a feeling that something is wrong. I should leave before something happens"
I turn around.
"Wait, you do realize I'm still a hero, right?"
"Siding with a villain"
"Bye. I'll see you tomorrow at UA"
"Where are you going?"
I turn back around.
"Aizawa called. I told him I was on a walk and that I'd be back to UA soon"
"Tell him change of plans. You're staying here"
"WHAT?!"
"Did I stutter? Toga says there's another room and you can stay in it until the Heroes eventually find out about Eri and Kai"
Swallowing as hard as I can, I suppress the urge to verbally beat the shit out of everyone in this room.
"Woah, that was hella intense" Dabi says, standing up. "Does anyone need anything from the store?"
"Hey hey hey! Don't fucking leave me here!"
"Sorry not sorry"
Dabi opened the door, shutting it behind him.
"Where's that room" I ask, wanting to be over with the day.
"Turn your location off"
I take my phone out of my pocket and turn it off.
"There, happy?"
"Yeah, first door on the right"
I walk upstairs into a hallway lit by the afternoon light. A soothing colour in the sky.
"At least it's not completely trashed" I whisper to myself, trying to open my Pinterest. Great, I have no signal.
I put my phone away, opening the door.
The room looked as if it had originally belonged to a child younger than me.
A pale pink wallpaper covered the walls, the wood floor creaking with every step. The bed had a new mattress on it, but no sheets or blankets. Old toys were in the corner of the room, spiders were nowhere to be seen, and the window didn't open. I sit on the cold mattress, it wasn't even a good one, stiff as a board.
I set my bag on the floor next to the bed, looking at the rest of the room carefully for spiders. I didn't find any, the only thing I did find was a closet I hadn't noticed before. A white slitted closet with crayoned drawings. Standing up, I approached the closet with caution. I braced myself before opening it, Incase something terrible or weird were to be inside. I count down in my head.

I open the door.
