( Aizawa PoV)
I walked outside while talking to Aria as she poorly described her surroundings. Trees, flowers, grass.
And I thought she was smarter than that. Nothing too definable.
So she can look at people and say;
"Oh, and you take monoamine oxidase inhibitors. It's easy to tell because Zoloft is the most common antidepressant, I figured you wouldn't have it. Monoamine oxidase inhibitors are really the fastest and only antidepressant you can overdose on"
" I think I'm going to pass out. I'll see you in the ICU?
"Aria, hang in there. Can you be a little more specific? Any certain things that could give away where you are? Can you see the dorms?"
There was no response.
The phone just sat on the ground, the sounds of her breathing heavily were the only thing I could hear.
" Aria?"
Still no response.
The most rational way to get through this is to find her.
I set off on the trail and listened for sounds. Owls hooting, nocturnal animals coming out to hunt, my breathing.
I saw her inhaler on the path, covered in blood
Following the trail won't help me find her at all. I headed into the wooded area off the trail. I still only heard a few sounds from before.
I turned the flash on my phone on and walked further into the woods.
Before long, I saw a trail of blood leading to nothing. It ended after about twelve feet.
If that's Aria's blood, she might not be alive right now. That's too much blood to be hers.
I continued along, finding another trail of blood.
This time, it led to a small closure in the wooded area. Like a little enclosure of trees.
I walked in and saw nothing.
There was a blood puddle on the ground, but nobody was there.
As I made my way out, I heard breathing that wasn't mine. It was like Aria's, loud and obnoxious. I followed the sound.
The source of the sound was in fact Aria.
She was lying on the ground, her leg covered entirely in blood. The stomach area of her shirt was bloodstained too.
I walked closer. She was breathing, just not very well.
I lifted up her shirt and saw a five inch cut along her stomach, and her entire left leg was soaked in blood.
I picked her up and started making my way back to the UA building, where I could put her somewhere more safe than the dorms. Recovery Girl wasn't currently in the UA building, given that it's almost 4:00AM.
I got to the dorms, and put her on the ground in 1-A. I had to go to the recovery girls' office to get bandages, and when I got back, she was still passed out. That's not like her, usually she's up by the time I get back.
I lifted up her shirt and started putting on the bandages. This makes me look like a creep, doesn't it? I mean, she has a bra on so it can't be that weird.
If I'm saving her life, it's not creepy though. What do I tell the others? Do I just tell them I found her and go on with my day?
Oh well, I'll worry about that later.
I continued to bandage her leg, and noticed she had already bled through the bandage on her stomach.
Does she have hemophilia?
I know she has asthma, but hemophilia seems rare.
"What the hell even happened?" I asked. I knew she wasn't awake, or responsive. I just find her easy to talk to.
What am I even saying? She's a child. She shouldn't be that easy to talk to. But yet, she is.
It's Sunday, so on Monday she should be fine. And if she isn't, that's okay. She'll pull through, she always does.
Right?
I've just realized how light she is too. And how she has a temper like problem child two.
She takes close liking to her classmates, especially most of the Bakusquad.
She's going to need that specialist more than ever now. But she's right about that too.
Maybe that girl did that to her too.
No, they just got Intel on her. She's twelve, also from the same place, she has a quirk where she can control metal.
That explains how she did get a gun and meat cleaver. They are both made mostly out of metal.
I grabbed my bag and started making my way out the door.
" Am I in the hospital or am I in hell?" Someone asked.
Aria.
"If I'm in a hospital, morphine, if I'm in hell, is it because I'm gay or because I don't believe in God?" Aria asked again. " Jokes on you, Aizawa, I lived, and I'm totally completely fine!" She coughed.
" Nevermind I'm coughing blood. Can we maybe go to the hospital?"
I froze.
"Blood?"
She coughed again.
" Yeah, blood, what else would it be?"
I walked back into the room, maintaining eye contact with her.
She was leaning against the wall, standing up. She coughed and held out her arm.
Blood splattered on her arm. Could it be something else?
" Internal bleeding?" She whispered.
Maybe blood from her stomach rubbed off onto her arm?
Aria closed her eyes and sat back down.
I walked back over to her. She wasn't answering to her name, and she wasn't awake.
I tried shaking her, But that did nothing.
Blood started to drip from the side of her mouth. She wasn't breathing.
Maybe she's having an asthma attack?
I grabbed her inhaler I picked up along the way, and put it in her mouth.
I couldn't tell if she inhaled or not, but she began to breathe again.
I set her back down and decided I would take her back to my house. It's not like I can just leave her here where she can bleed out to death. She'll also be safer with me, judging that whoever has been doing this is a student here.
But then again, how aren't people going to see me putting her in my car?
"I have to take you to the hospital, you're going to die without proper help" I told her.
