'I-I just can't believe he would do this to me!" Mary Anne blubbered, the tears spilling out and falling down her cheeks.

When I arrived, Mary Anne was waiting on the front porch for me, her face emotionless as she tried again to tell me what happened. I felt bad for her; I didn't know what she was going through so I couldnt relate my pain to hers. She was upset and the only thing I could do was tell her over and over again that everything would be okay. It was all I could do. If I said anything else she wouldn't believe me.

"Mary Anne, you've got to talk to him. It just doesn't add up. You know as well as I do that Logan would never ever do that to you. He has to have a good explanation." I told her soothingly.
"B-b-b-but..." she tried to form a coherent sentence but her sobs were overpowering her.
"Breathe." I told her.
She took three deep breaths and her sobs subsided slowly. She looked at me and sighed. "I don't want to talk to him."
"He might have a good explanation."
"And if he doesn't?"
"Doesn't hurt to try."
"Ugh!" She sighed flinging herself back onto her bed.
"Mary Anne, I know this is hard, but shutting Logan out and not giving him a chance to explain is only going to make things harder." I told her gently.
"And what if he doesn't have a good explanation? What if he just tells me that he doesn't love me anymore and that he never did! What if our whole relationship was based on a lie?" She yelled and then started sobbing again.
"That's a risk you're going to have to take, Mary Anne."
"No..." She whispered, softly.

Her phone vibrated on her nightstand by her bed. She simply stared at it emotionless, not moving.

"Answer it." I encouraged.

She shook her head and let it vibrate, until it finally went to voicemail.

I shook my head and frowned at her. "You're going to have to talk to him sometime."
"I know." She whispered.

Three hours later she was finally asleep on her bed. We'd talked about different things, hoping to get her mind off of what happened. Then she finally fell asleep.

I got up and went to my car, dialling Justin's number on the way. I heard him pick up the phone after the 5th ring.

"Hey, where are you?"
"On my way." I answered.
He laughed gently. "I'm at home. Come to my house."

I frowned. Since when did Justin go home? He never went home; he's been at the hospital since the accident. I found it hard to believe that he actually at home for the first time in weeks.

"Okay." I replied before hanging up

I pulled out of the driveway and made my way along the road. I turned on a corner street that I knew would lead to Justin's house. When I reached his neighbourhood, I found it eerily quiet. Too quiet. I shuddered and drove at a faster speed to the rest of his house.

I looked up and saw the lights were out and it was pitch black, making it seem as if no one was home, even though Justin had said he was.

I made my way to the front door and opened it. I gasped when I saw candles lighting up the whole living room. There was soft music playing in the background and food was spread out around the table. There were two more candles in the centre of the table lighting it up just enough to see while you're eating.

"Justin?" I asked, quietly.
"Yes?" He answered, stepping out of the shadows.

He had a nice t-shirt on and he wore dark blue jeans. His hair was combed back neatly on his head. He looked gorgeous.

"What's going on?" I asked, softly.
"I had to make it up to you somehow."
"What are you talking about?"
'Lilly, I practically yelled at you the other day and then last night I did it again. I just wanted to do this as a way of saying I'm sorry." He replied, stepping towards me.
I smiled and pulled him into a hug. "It's perfect, thank you."

He smiled and pulled back to press his lips softly against mine.

I felt the tingles instantly shoot through my body. Every time he touched me they only grew stronger, the heat from our bodies being pressed up against each other, intensifying.

He pushed me backwards until I was up against the wall. He put both of his hands on either sides of my head and kept his lips firmly against mine.

I never wanted it to end. I wanted to be in his arms forever. I never wanted him to let go. I knew my love for him would never falter, I knew I'd never want anyone else but him.

"Come on, let's eat." He whispered against my lips.

I nodded and pulled away from him.
