"I'm going to find you; you might as well give up." Justin yelled; laughter in his voice.

When we'd sat down to eat, everything was going great. The food was delicious, the way he'd set everything up made it that much better. After a while he started making funny comments and then one thing led to another and now we're throwing food at each other. I'm hiding because I know he'll find me. He always does.

"Never!" I called back, laughing.

My laughter was cut short when I realised I just answered him and made it that much easier for him to find me.

I heard faint footsteps walking across the wooden floor, and then slowly they got closer. I heard the faint sound of him laughing.

"Come on. Where are you? Why are you hiding if you know that I'm going to find you eventually?" He asked and I could tell he was smiling.

I didn't answer. I pressed my back against the closet door and held my breath, hoping to block out the sound of my breathing.

He pulled open the door and I hurled a piece of Lasagne in his face. He glared at me and then picked me up and started toward the back door.

"What are you doing?" I asked, confused.
"Showing you what happens to people when they mess with me." He replied, still smiling.
"Justin-"
"Shh. Don't be scared." He replied softly, but the hint of humour was still in his voice.
"Aw come on! What are you going to do?" I whined.

He smiled but didn't answer. He walked over to the edge of the pool and looked at me, grinning.

"No! Justin-"

I was cut off when I hit the water. The water was cold and shot up through my body. I shivered and swam back up to the top.

"I cannot believe you just did that!" I hissed.

He was laughing, his face red from all the laughing he was doing.

"At least you got all the food out of your hair."
"You're going down!" I said.

I went over to the steps and climbed out. I walked over to him and shoved him in with as much force as I could muster.

He hit the water and then came back up a second later.

"Nicely done." He said, grinning.
"Ugh!" I complained.
"Aw come on sweetheart, don't get mad!"
"How can I not?" I told him, pouting.

He laughed gently and got out and walked over to me. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me into his chest.

"Because you love me." He whispered in my ear.
"You're right. I do." I whispered back.

He brought his head closer to mine and then kissed me. He pushed me against the wall, keeping his lips pressed firmly to mine. His hands were at my waist pulling me closer to him.

I wrapped my arms around his neck, never wanting it to end. Who cared how dirty we both were? Who cared how much we had to deal with once this night ended? I didn't care about any of that. All I wanted was now. To be in his arms and nowhere else.

"I love you." He whispered, leaning his forehead against mine.
"I love you too." I told him.

I brought my hand up to his face and gently ran my fingers down his cheek, then to his neck and then brought it to rest firmly on his chest.

He kissed my forehead and smiled.

"We should get cleaned up." He said.
"Okay." I agreed.

He pulled away and laced his fingers with mine. He led me back inside and upstairs to the bathroom.

"You can shower in there. I'll be in my room when you're done." He told me.

I nodded and went into the bathroom. I shut the door and locked it. I didn't want this night to end. But I knew it would.
