Earth ????

Y/n pushed down the knob on the side of the toilet, her hair being held back so that the nasty vomit projecting wouldn't get in her hair. She wiped her mouth with her sweater sleeve, putting the toilet cover down.

"Jesus, girl." Livvy sighed, looking at the girl's worn-out figure sitting on the floor in front of the toilet. "Maybe I shouldn't have made you party so hard." She looked up at her with her e/c eyes. She wore a white tank crop-top, followed along by jean shorts. Her blonde hair fell to the front of her shoulder and her blue eyes shined down at me due to the light being reflected through the window.

She got up, wobbling to the sink and running the water. She grabbed her toothbrush, putting the paste on it and wetting it. She put it in her mouth, using her other hand to lean against the counter. She observed her messy appearance in the mirror, mascara ran down her face, her hair disheveled and eyes burning.

Livvy walked out of the room and went to the kitchen to get water. She walked back in. Y/n bent down, spitting the toothpaste into the sink. She put both hands on the counter and leaned her head back as a reaction to the migraine that pulsed through my head.

"Drink." She stated, putting it to my mouth and tilting it up. The cold liquid went down Y/n's throat and she swallowed. "Feeling better?" Liv asked.

The h/c haired girl  turned her head and looked at her through her eyebrows. "Great." She said with a pretend happy tone, crinkling her eyes and giving her a fake smile.

"Jeez, sorry."

Liv was a party monster and a social bug, whereas Y/n rather spend time alone in her apartment. She was a barista at a cute little cafe.. whilst she was a doctor. They went through high school hating each other, but worked it out in the end. Livvy strived for academic success whilst Y/n was just trying to get to my dream college.

When we got to college things began to shift, Liv dropped out and Y/n was doing better than ever with her studies. She was burnt out, and now she just wanted to live her life- and Y/n loved her for that. However, hated her for dragging her into a party- especially since she had work tomorrow.

She was such a big person, but for Y/n the world was small. She just never knew how to speak out.

"I have to go." She said, walking out of the restroom and to the living room.

"Where?" She asked.

"To my home." She responded blandly. I picked my things up from off the couch, walking to the door.

"Well, this was nice- maybe we can do it again sometime?" Liv said. She looked at her, knowing damn well that she didn't want to do this again. But, the look in her eye somehow broke her heart.

"Sure. We can do this again." She responds meekly, opening the door. "Bye Liv."

"Byeee." She shut the door, she walked down the hallway and to the parking lot.

Y/n pulled into her building's driveway and rode the elevator up to her apartment. Once there she took a pack of crackers from her pantry, jumping out the window onto the fire exit and making her way up the stairs breezily.

When time was moving too fast she tend to do this. She often caught herself and came to the realization that her time was ticking. She was only 25, however to her it seemed like she had the mind of an old woman. Or that's what her papi says- or used to say. He was her only friend other than Olivia, and Y/n was beginning to get the feeling that she's only with her cause she feels bad. I mean who unfriends someone after their father died?

Maybe she's just overthinking, or maybe the world wants nothing to do with her. But as her feet dangle off the rooftop of her apartment building she wondered what it would be like if she just jumped.

The hypocrite she felt like she was to complain how she didn't have much time, but also wanted to cut it short. The thing that stops her is how much it hurts to finally be gone, not really what comes after. She was sure whatever it is, it's better than whatever this world has become.

Her train of thoughts was pulled off the rails once she felt specks of rain hit her arm. The crackers that were in the bag she held were now soggy, She sighed, twisting the plastic and putting them down.

She brought her hand up, letting the energy release from her fingers. The magic that sprouted wasn't blue, or purple, nor green or red, but instead beige.

The bag of crackers disappeared from reality as she sighed, looking to the drop beneath her.

Suddenly lightning hit the ground of a building, it startled her for a second, but then she calmed realizing it was just an act of mother nature.

What was on the roof sparked her attention, as she felt the foreignness radiate off of them from where she was sitting. She stood up, gathering energy balls in her hands and shooting them off the ground, sending her to where the unknown person was.
