Y/n changed into fresh clothes that weren't soaked in seawater. She sat on her bed which was placed slightly in front of the mirror, she braided her wet locks. She rolled the rubber-band off her wrist, using it to tie the end. She looked to her right, seeing Miguel leaning on the railings of the balcony, watching the rising Friday sun.

Y/n quietly made her way over to him. She stood beside him, leaning on the railing as well. "Last night," Miguel speaks, "I felt my senses go off."

Y/n looked at his beautiful side profile, tilting her head slightly, "Why didn't you do anything about it?"

"Cause I would've rather ignored them than ignored you." He states, Y/n's eyebrows raised in surprise of this sudden shift between them. She went closer to him, grabbing his arm and leaning her face on it affectionately while taking in the view with him. Miguel looked down at her, his heart softening. "But I won't do that again." He says softly, knowing that now, he would go all limits to protect her.

She looks up at him, seeing that he was already looking at her. Now was the perfect time to share a kiss, and both had the same intentions. Miguel leaned down slightly, towering over the girl and tilting her head up by gently cupping her chin. His senses go off that very moment, and learning from his past actions he listens to them.

Y/n's eyes open, looking down at the ground, a bit embarrassed. Miguel observed the tide, seeing that it was pulled back much more than it should've been. Wet sand that had once been covered by water was shown. Y/n looked to the shore as well, knowing exactly what this had meant.

Alarms blared through the air- specifically tsunami alarms. "We've overstayed." She speaks, her voice panicked.

"We have to leave, now!" Miguel rushes back into the hotel room, gathering their things.

"What about the people?!" Y/n shouts at him, "This is our fault, we have to help them."

"No," Miguel rushes over to her, gripping both sides of her arms, "We'll only make things worse." His grip loosened on her, he shot a web at the sliding door, making sure that she wouldn't escape from him. She looked towards the door, then back at him. He continued to pack all of their things into a duffel bag messily.

Y/n stared at him whilst he did that, standing there with her eyebrows furrowed. "I'm not leaving." She states, her chest heaving up and down.

"You don't have a choice." Miguel says sternly.

She stands there in thought, before she finally makes her impulsive decision. She threw her hand back, her eyes turning beige as she lets out an energy ball at the sliding door, which flies off its hinges. She looked at Miguel, before he could stop her she threw energy at him, sending him flying back to the wall.

She cringed, guilt dripping from her actions, but they had already been done. She made a break towards the balcony, jumping down it and using her magic to break her fall. As the energy spread out on the ground, rain began to pour down. What once had been a beautiful morning turned into a grey catastrophe.

Y/n looked up at the tall hotel, and sending beige wisps in the air, which crept into people's rooms and into their brains, sending signals to get to the highest floors.

Y/n turned on her heels, looking at all of the small shops, restaurants and other buildings that were going to be destroyed. Y/n lifted up more beige wisps with her fingertips, sending them to each building.

Soon, people came running past her into the hotel, going straight to the stairwell and to the rooftop. She dropped her hands, the magic doing its job on its own now.

She felt a strong hand grip her right shoulder and turn her around. Miguel looked mad, really mad. The death stare that he gave her didn't need any words to be spoken. He grabbed her arm, trying to make it in time to where they had parked outside.
