She scrunched up the towel, emptying the excess water into the bucket. She cleaned the blood from the man's face. She couldn't help but notice how his face was sculpted, and annoyingly perfect. Checking his body for wounds she couldn't help but feel uncomfortable by his presence, since she barely had anybody in her apartment other than her dad.

She found comfort in her apartment since she could practically still feel his presence, hear his voice, smell his cooking, and almost see that bright smile that painted his face. But now, all she could feel was this brand new presence. And she didn't like it.

She cleaned the last streak of blood from his face, plopping the towel back into the bucket. She had a towel wrapped around her back, preventing her t-shirt from getting wet due to her hair.

She used the back of her hand to feel his forehead, which had been normally warm. She furrowed her eyebrows, questions racing through her mind. How did he get here? Why is he here? Why did I even take him in? Where did he come from? Why am I so bothered by someone's simple presence? What is this suit? Why are there so many scratches on it?

She sat there for several minutes, fighting the urge to explore his mind. She looked away, shutting her eyes, trying to make her thoughts float somewhere else. If she hadn't brought him in he probably would've been struck by lightning by now.

She narrowed her eyes, urges taking over her. Finally her e/c eyes turned to a beige as she zoned in.

She stood in pure blackness for a few seconds before the setting began to appear. The very man who's mind she invaded was running, a girl in his arms. The protective way his arms were around her and the youth on her face signaled to Y/n that she was his daughter. She disappeared from his arms, leaving him empty.

She closed her eyes shaking her head, hating herself for invading that part of his mind. The setting began to shift. "Lyla? Lyla?!? What's happening?" I heard his voice shout. It was tired and he was obviously out of breathe.

"Something's gone wrong, hold on, trying to fix it..." Her voice glitched out.

"Lyla... Lyla?" Were the last words he said before he began glitching rapidly- more than normal.

Everything came back to the girl like a tidal wave. Her apartment settings came back to life, and the man's eyes shot open.

He quickly stood up, looking down at the girls figure. Her hands supported her weight behind her, she looked up and gulped.

"You..." He growled in a low voice.

She got up quickly, and it was then that she noticed how tall he was. He towered over her, walking towards her.

She walked back, tilting her head, both scared and confused. Her back hit the wall. He put his arms up, pinning her to it. "What did you do?.." He questioned, fangs flashing as he barked the words.

"Nothing." She spat back, eyebrows turning down as her hopeless attempt to look intimidating.

"You made me see something, I know it." He stated.

"I have no idea what you're talking about." She said, attempting to pick herself off the wall. He used his strong arms to pin her back to it.

"Don't. Lie." He commands, looking at her through his eyebrows.

"This is what I get huh?" She swallowed, finding her voice. "I saved you, and now you're threatening me? That's not very nice."

"I know you went into my mind, bruja." He says, causing her eyebrows to go up. "And I know how you pulled me out of that reality. You're playing a very dangerous game."
