"Why do you have so much mac and cheese in your pantry?" Miguel looked through it, the doors were shut by beige wisps, making him jump.

"Don't touch anything." Y/n hissed, standing up and making her way to the kitchen, pulling out a stool and sitting. "We have to do something." She states.

"Aye yai yai, what would we do exactly?" He rubbed his fingers on his temple.

"I don't know, but she's still out there. Who knows? Maybe she's watching us now." Y/n looked to a nearby window, Miguel scoffed.

"If she was watching, I would know." Miguel states.

Y/n bit her lip in embarrassment, "Right." She says, nodding her head slightly.

"We can't do anything, all we can do is wait here." He paces up and down the kitchen, one thing Y/n noticed about him was that he was very stoic, and his whole presence was intimidating. He seemed like the type of person to just stare at you after you smiled at them in public.

Y/n's eyebrows draw together in thought, recounting all of her abilities and skills. "You're wrong."  She states. "I can do something."

Miguel raises his eyebrows as Y/n swings her legs over the stool and stands up. Her beige wisps that are released from her fingers turn the television to another channel. White noise plays from it, Y/n sits down on the couch.

She thinks about the changing appearance of the witch, closing her eyes. She feels someone sit next to her. "What are you doing?" He questions, leaning in to get a better look at her face.

Y/n's hand goes to his mouth. "Quiet." She commands. He grabs her wrist, peeling it off his mouth.

Miguel's eyebrows scrunched together, tiredness and exasperation taking over. "This isn't working.."  He thought to himself.

Y/n inhaled sharply, her eyeballs moving swiftly against her eyelids. The tv suddenly glitched. Miguel flinched slightly, alarmed at the sudden absurdly loud noise. He sat looking at the static on the tv, waiting seconds, minutes for it to change again. And it did.

On the tv appeared a crime scene. The caution tape, blue and red light, and blood spilled on the floor gave it away.

Getting a closer look at the victim, her face was old and withered. Her style however was up to date, which was confusing because no old person would wear anything like that unless they were forced to. Miguel furrowed his eyebrows in thought, but Y/n knew exactly who killed her. And she also knew that the woman wasn't old at all when she died, living a short life of 20 years.

The bright purple eyes that glowed in the alley way were well hidden, but Y/n noticed them. She moved closer to them in her remote viewing, cautious not to get too close. They blinked, and she swore she could almost catch a smirk on the witch's face.

Lilith mouths some words, "I'm coming for you fawn." She states.

Miguel's senses went off, he put both of his big hands on her shoulders, shaking her. "We gotta go..." He says with urgency. She zones back into her current surroundings. "Huh?" She says, slow to pick up his words.

"We have to go, now!" He shakes her more aggressively. She looks to the window, seeing the purple eyes she had just saw in her vision. Lilith must've somehow tracked her. A dark energy ball shot right through the window, destroying the wall so Y/n's apartment opened up to the city.

"Shit." She immediately got up, holding her hands out in a unintentionally artistic way and tensing them. She commanded all of her old portraits to come to her, along with a bag which she stuffed them into.
