The sliotar flew across the pitch, landing into Will's hand. Running up the pitch, he soloed the sliotar and passed it to Elton. Elton ran up the pitch, towards the goals. Dodging the defenders, he hit the sliotar towards the goals but the goal keeper saved it. Hitting the sliotar back out, he aimed it towards a player Will was marking. Luckily, Will caught the sliotar and sprinted towards the goal. Hitting the sliotar up into the air, he scored a point.

Up in the stands, Mike watched Will's team surround him and clap him on the back. None of them knew they were being watched by a guy who hated hurling with a passion, but here he was watching it and enjoying it for Will's sake. Watching Will, he saw him fixing his helmet and jumping up and down on the spot. He must be cold wearing those shorts, Mike thought to himself, it is December after all.

If Richard was beside Mike at this very moment he would be asking him "what the fuck happened?". Mike was asking himself the same thing now. He was watching the most popular boy, who he is somehow friends with, practice hurling. It was his first training session in a month and a half due to how pissed he made Mr. Stewart. Luckily, he wasn't banned from it altogether by Mr. Stewart. Running up the pitch again, he shouldered somebody to get the sliotar. Catching it, he threw it over to somebody Mike didn't know the name of. Watching him wasn't interesting so he pulled out his phone and took a sneaky picture of Will. Smirking, he sent it to the band's group chat.

Rolling his eyes, Mike kept his eyes glued to Will. The way he sprinted up the pitch amazed Mike. How could he have so much energy?  Well, he needed it to be a singer anyways. Singers need breath control and energy, which Will had plenty of. Smirking, Mike was happy that Will was in the band. Without Will, Mike would still be friends with Richard. That felt weird to think, but it was true. Without Will, many things would be different either for the better or the worse. Mike wasn't sure what he would of preferred, to be honest.

Whilst watching Will he listened to Will's Spotify playlist on his headphones. It was surprisingly better than Mike's own playlist. One artist who appeared often on it was the 'Arctic Monkeys' who had a rock and roll vibe. Mike had never heard of them before, but was instantly hooked to them. Alex Turner's vocals were amazing. That was another thing Will and Mike could agree on - the Arctic Monkeys were great.

Once it was half four, all of the boys began to leave the pitch. Standing up from the stands, Mike began to make his way towards Will. A smile was on his face as he pulled his headphones down and was getting closer and closer to him. Will had no idea he was here at all, so this was Mike's time to finally surprise Will.

"Oi!" Mike shouted, from a few feet away. Running towards Will, he handed him a notebook. "It's full of songs that need chords, melody, blah blah blah.. all of that junk."

"What are you doing here?" Will asked, surprised, holding the notebook and flicking through it. "I thought you had that art club thing."

"Cancelled." Mike replied, rolling his eyes. "Teacher's in labour so it won't be on for a while-"
