Part 7: come with me

It was only an hour before I had to face Tsukasa again. Apparently senku had promised to show him a revival, the revival of Yuzuriha.

Taiju was holding Yuzuriha "okay Yuzuriha.. I promised we'd save you, and it's happening for real this time."

"What the hell?" I heard Senku say as I sat beside him, not wanting to venture off far from him. "For some reason, we don't have enough revival fluid for even one person"

Taiju dropped Yuzuriha "crap! Did I get it too soon?"

Senku chuckled slightly and stood up, leaving me sitting on the group "just grab some more. Me, Y/N, and Tsukasa will play 20 questions or something while your gone. But do try and make it quick, would ya, big oaf?"

"Of course! I'll be back before you know it." Taiju said, more enthusiastic than usual. He was probably excited about Yuzurihas revival. Not that I wasn't excited "full steam ahead!"

I watched Taiju as he was grabbed by Tsukasa, I flinched and almost got up, senku sat me back down before I could do anything

"I'm the fastest, so it makes more sense for me to go." He paused with a smile "but I'll need to know exactly where to find this 'miracle fluid'"

All I heard was Senku chuckling, I looked up at him as he told Tsukasa exactly where to find the miracle fluid

Senku yawned "Tsukasas gone?"

"Yeah! He really is the fastest." Taiju replied

Suddenly senku moved "let's make some revival juice! We'll bring her back A.S.A.P. Before he has a chance to return!"

I was trying my best to help Senku, but felt I was just getting in the way. So I backed off and let Senku work his magic

"I thought you just said there wasn't enough!" Taiju questioned senku

"Do you really think I would set out a pot that wasn't big enough?" Senku sighed

"No you wouldn't.. then why did you send Tsukasa out to get more?" Taiju was confused, I could see it on his face

"Even if it meant revealing the location. I wanted him gone before we revived her." senku said still making the concoction

"Why would you wanna get rid of Tsukasa?" Taiju looked over at Senku, then at me. I spoke up

"He.. killed someone.." my voice cracked "An older man. He talked about making the world better and only reviving the purest of people." I paused, visibly shaken. "He said people like me." I wrapped my arms around myself like a hug, digging my fingers nails into my arms, before Senku patted my head

Taiju looked over at Senku and then nodded "okay, I trust you guys to make the right decisions."

"Yuzuriha. Sorry to keep you waiting, but I'm here. Just like I said" Taijus voice broke

"We're in a hurry you big oaf!" Senku said taking the fluid and pouring it on Yuzuriha

Taiju yelled "be more careful!!" He looked over at Yuzuriha "wait why is nothing happening??"

I was standing beside Senku, holding onto a part of his sleeve. I felt like a child being protected by her mother. I felt so useless.

"Don't worry Yuzuriha! It's fine!" Taiju turned to Senku "is this fine Senku??"

Senku grabbed my hand before responding "well the reaction isn't instantaneous, The petrification is much like cryostasis. If just one part is exposed to the natal, it begins to break down and causes a chain reaction."
