Nayab was standing on the stage, wearing her bridal joda, and looking at all the people around her. She watched Gulshan and Haider interact with Sumaya and Mustafa. Hamza and Aaliya looked busy in a fun conversation with Yahya and Yusuf. Simran and Angad were present too, with their four month old son in their arms.
And finally was her majazi khuda, clad in a matching sherwani with her outfit. He was talking to some employees of Felicity who had especially flown down to Delhi for the wedding.
After Danish proposed to Nayab, both the families spent a few days in Delhi deciding the basic plan and dates for the wedding. After that Danish's family went back to London, while Nayab, Danish and Yahya flew to Mumbai.
Danish, along with Yahya, spent the next few days conducting interviews of candidates for the new office. And the first project of Felicity after setting up the office was planning its founder's wedding. The engaged couple spent days in the office, deciding on every intricate detail.
It was natural that Nayab insisted on a small wedding. She only wanted their families and closest friends around on their special day. From the menu to the flowers to the cloth fabric being used for decoration was done by the couple themselves.
And four months later, here they were, married to each other.
"Darling," Danish's voice broke her daze. She looked at him with a smile. "Let's get out of here."
She raised a brow. "This is our wedding party, Danish. We can't just get out of here."
"Yes, we can." He held her hand and started pulling her down the stage. "I can't wait any longer to tear that dress off you."
She gasped. "I am not letting you tear my wedding joda."
"If you want to save it, you better take it off the second we enter the room. Or else, I am ripping it off." He said in the most normal tone.
"I didn't know I was marrying such an insatiable man." She joked.
He rolled her eyes. "I have controlled myself long enough. Now that you're my wife, there is nothing that can stop me from having you within the next ten minutes."
"Where do you think you're going?" Haider blocked their way just as they were about to exit the room.
Nayab heard Danish groan under his breath.
"Where are you taking my daughter?" Haider asked.
"Sir," Danish took a deep breath, "with all due respect, your daughter is my wife now. And I have all the rights to take her wherever I want to."
Haider narrowed his eyes on his son-in-law. Before there could be another threatening warning from her father, Nayab decided to intervene. "It's okay, papa. I was feeling tired so we decided to leave."
