Chapter 2:the start.

Wandering out in the woods with your gun in hand you had since you were 12 and a knife in your waistband(idk what to call it..) you heard twigs snapping behind you you turned around gun in your hand you saw 2 men staring at you one with a crossbow pointed at you and one with a gun pointed at you

"Who are you." You said with a confused yet happy look you finally saw another life form other then a Walker...

"Rick..Rick grimes the one with the crossbow is Daryl.."

"Mhm.." "and you are ?.." Rick spoke

"Why should i Tell you?." I say taking the safety off my gun "cause we just told you who we are so tell us who you are.." he said staring at me "Sydney.. Sydney roberts ." "Alright Sydney.. how about we lower our weapons ay?.." Rick spoke again Daryl not saying a word just staring at me with such a rude look.

I lower my weapon, we all do "you both look nice and look showered not dirty looking except the one with the cross bow.." Daryl looks at me with this shocked look but yet still looking at me in quite a rude way "you look dirtier then me.." Daryl says "excuse you.. you look as bad as me meanwhile this one over here" I say pointing at rick "looks cleaner then the both of us mr.redneck." Rick stares at the both of us holding in a laugh.

"Okay enough fighting y'all.." Rick says before continuing with his sentence "we have a camp in Alexandria." He says "mhm.. y'all take people in ?.." I say "yeah sometimes got some questions for you." I look at him nodding at him to continue "how many walkers you killed?" He says "to many to count been out here since I was 12." "How many people you killed" "my mother and my friend I had for a while.." I say "and why?" "Killed my mother cause she turned when I got to her i dont know if you would count that as a person and my friend asked me to she got bit while on the run asked me to shoot her so I did."

After a few hours we arrive where there staying I walk in the first person who catches my eye is a boy with hat,long hair and a bandage around one of his eyes I look at rick "he get bit?." "No shot." "In the fucking eye?.. goddamn that had to hurt.." Rick just nods and Daryl walks away Rick calls everyone over and introduces me to everyone telling them who I am the first person to walk up to me is the boy I saw earlier "hi I'm Carl Carl grimes " he says with quite a smile "I'm Sydney you can call me syd" I say a light pink color on my cheeks with a smile Rick notices and kind of just smirks at the both of us and walks away

A few hours go by and rick knocks on the door of the house in staying in with some people named Glenn and Maggie I open the door "wanna go on a run with me Glenn and Carl" a smile rises on my face as soon as he says Carl "sure !" I say I walk out the house and Rick hands me a new gun and a new knife as we all head out
