Chapter 16: i like you to.

I made this chapter this morning but it didn't load so now I have to write it all over again😭😭

It's been a few days since everything has happened i didn't mind it much if I'm being honest today was normal Salem was by my side heeling as always before I heard a familiar voice call out "Sydney !" I heard I turned around facing rick "yeah?" I questioned "can you watch Judith for me? I can't find Carl and we can't find Enid ." I felt jealous at the fact he was with Enid but I brushed it off "yeah of course here take Salem she can track him" i said handing him the e collar remote he took it thanking me and jogging off as i walked towards the grimes house

I walked in spotting a happy Judith "hi Judy" i said i always called her judy i took her out of her crib and she had some blocks and toys on the floor to play with so I sat down with her and played with her

-TIME SKIP-

I heard a door slam shut and the sound of rick scolding Carl i didn't mind it much i listened in a bit "why would you go out there you could've gotten bit or killed or anything!" Rick scolded "i didn't tho." Carl mumbled a bit but loud enough to hear it it continued on as i sat back down with Judith until I heard a glass break making Judith start crying I picked her up immediately and I looked down stairs spotting the both of them "sorry didn't know you were here." Rick spoke Carl not daring to say a word i walked down the stairs "it's fine judy here just got scared I Guess" i spoke looking "Judy?.." rick questioned "yeah it's a cute little nickname." I said a smile on my face carls body became more tense and more relaxed at the sight of Judith i looked at his hand noticing it bleeding "your hand ." I spoke handing Judith over to rick "yeah must've cut it when dropping the cup" he spoke "sit on the couch I'll fix it for you" i said as i walked upstairs and grabbed some stuff to fix the cut

I came back down i sat down grabbing his hand rubbing the alcohol on it the wound he winced at the pain as it was soon over I grabbed the stitching supplies and started stitching "how do you know how to do this" rick spoke holding a calm happy Judith "been out there so long i still got a wound that will break open bleed again I learned out to Stich myself up even before this shit started cause I would sometimes cut myself on the shards of glass on the floors counters etc at my moms house." I spoke pointing to the wound on my thigh it wasn't to noticeable "if I move to much it opens up again." I said as i finished the stitching job and stood up "there also meet me outside on the porch gotta tell you something " i said as i looked back at the boy opening the door going out on the porch sitting on the steps

was it wrong? What if he doesn't like me back?? Fuck maybe it was a bad plan???

He soon walked out the porch "what is it?" He asked and I started to speak "i like you to.. my uh my mother used to tell me before she became alcoholic it was saying "remember when your lost in the darkness look for the light" a saying meaning that even in your darkest times mental health wise etc look for someone who's the light of your life that gives you a reason to stay alive to keep up in the morning to wake up everyday to get out of bed and your my light carl grimes and always have been." I said the boy smiled a bit at my words as he slowly walked up to me wrapping his hands around my waist as i wrapped my hands around his neck as we both kissed eachother smiling against eachothers lips before a voice spoke "okayyy then" michonne spoke as me and Carl pulled away from eachother as i let out a small giggle at her words I now knew Carl grimes was my light hopefully forever.

AHHHH I'm so proud of this chapter tbh I'm almost in s7 :)) i Hope your enjoying reading!! I'm so sad that this story is nearing the end :(((
