Chapter 9:miss me ?

The next morning I got up yet again I got up Salem staying in my room as I walked out no food on the table no one in the house I shrugged before going out the house being greeted by Daryl I gave him a nod before I walked to Carl greeting him his face turned to a smile I told him i was going out as I grabbed a gun and putting it in a holster along with a knife "dont Miss me to much" I said sarcastically before I went outside looking around at the trees so peaceful for once before a Walker came grabbing me by my shirt I squealed when it grabbed me before stabbing it in the head blood sprinkling on me as it fell to the ground a soft thud

4 maybe 6 hours went by I had been awake maybe at 6 am ? Well the sun was still rising when I got up but yet still dark still come sun left as I ran through the woods a herd of walkers chasing me this is where I die I thought to myself before grabbing my gun out of his holster shooting walkers before any gun clicked fuck I thought to myself yet again before I trip falling most of the walkers dead I got back up running some getting close to me as I stabbed them

30 mins went by my legs screaming in protest for me to stop just a bit more and Ill make it I thought right after I fell to the ground I tried getting up but my legs gave out before the Walker crawling on me snapping at me growling and snarling fuck fuck fuck what do I do I can't grab my knife I thought yet again before I dug my nails into the walkers chest tearing it open blood falling on my grey shirt turning it a maroon red color I saw a rib cage oh my god I thought before grabbing a piece of the ribcage tearing it off as I took it up I stabbed the Walker blood going out of its head falling onto me I almost puked at everything as I felt a limp body fall on mine I pushed it off before getting back up and I guess jogging back to camp the only sound in the forest was my sore feet and some growls and snarls.

I made it back to camp and Carl rushed over "miss me ?" I said sarcastically "we thought you died well I did all those gunshots" he said I looked at my bloody fingers cringing before I pulled away "okay okay let me get washed up Carl." I said followed with a giggle from me I walked into the house I stayed at Maggie turned to me her smile turning into some sort of horror look "what I had to kill a Walker" I said shrugging my shoulders "Maggie was for dinn- holy Fuck." Glenn said nothing me "please go um wash up.." Glenn said almost gagging at the smell of blood and just looking at me and honestly I can't blame him it was horrible I probably looked even more horrible I walked to the bathroom washing up

It was bonfire night today which means we stay up almost all night some days eat talk make fun dance etc I walked outside the door the only sound was my aching feet hitting the ground I came over sitting next to Carl playing with his knife as everyone talked around us we didn't say much I then grabbed two books I had grabbed from my room handing one to him "you never give your books syd?." She said confused "I know I wanted to give you one tho" I said a faint smile on my face "thank you syd" he said taking the book as I smiled at the nickname he always called me

A few minutes went by as everyone around us is dancing some sitting down drinking or talking or standing or just dancing I read my book sitting on the ground before carl walked up "may I have this dance" he said sarcastically I let out a giggle before I took his hand "you May" he to let out a tiny laugh before me and him starting dancing together laughing at ourselves at times before everyone stopped dancing we sat back down together side by side as I started reading my book again as carl just played with his knife yet again a faint red and pinkish color on his cheeks probably the same as me everyone around us kept talking before Daryl came over "want something to drink?" He asked "uh sure" I said as he handed me a cup of something I drank it tasting beer I spat it out "ew what the fuck is wrong with you Dixon." I asked grossed out by the taste "what its beer you don't like beer Roberts ?" He Said "you know damn good and well I don't I said before standing up pouring myself some wine and a bit of whiskey "woah you can't drink miss roberts" he said a hint of sarcasm from his words "you just handed me a cup of beer I think I'm okay with wine and whiskey and let's be honest it's the end of the world my parents aren't around there probably dead no one gives a shit anymore" or atleast I hope my stepmom was dead if you would even call her family i thought to myself Daryl just nodded before we heard a voice "aye anyone know this guy? He said he saw a girl he said he knew or atleast looked like her" I heard rick say I looked over staring at the face trying to make out the boy figure and face as some light shines in my eyes before hearing him talk "syds?" Only one person called me that in the whole world the light fell away from my eyes as I stared at the face "dad?." I said shocked realizing my father was still alive I stood up slowly before I ran over hugging him tightly "I thought I lost you forever" I said tears rolling down my cheeks "I missed you so much syds" he said "me to dad me to" I said as I looked up seeing him looking at me his face bloody I then heard someone speak...

my eyes closed and then reopened to Glenn and Maggie speaking Glenn noticed me "holy shit syd?" He s said rushing over "where's my dad?.." I said confused "what? You never found your dad syd .. it was just a dream" I sat up slowly my head hurt like a motherfucker "my head hurts." I said as I went to stand up my vision went a bit blurry black spots in my eyes

"Woah woah sit back down" Maggie said sitting next back down "fuck what happened?.." I asked my head throbbing "can I have something to help with this headache"I said touching my head before blood was on my fingers as Glenn walked out to grab medicine and what I guess is a new bandage "you talked to Daryl and then Daryl says he just saw you fall to the ground you hit your head scraped it badly" Maggie explained as Glenn walked back putting a new bandage on after taking the one off "well you'll have a cool scar" Glenn said trying to make a joke I let out a giggle "yep" I said before he then gave me some medicine to take it help with the headache along with water I took it my headache slowly going down as Salem jumped on my bed licking my face "yes yes hi Salem hi girl" I said laughing she was so excited i laid down as she laid on top of me panting tired "rest syd." Maggie said as they walked out I closed my eyes and fell asleep

A few hours went by and I look over to my side to see Carl Salem sitting next to him "carl?." I said as he looked at me "syd ! Your awake" he said smiling as I sat up "yep guess what Carl" "what?" "I'll have a cool ass scar" I said letting out a small laugh along with Carl I hugged him "when can I go out again?" I asked curious i wanted to be up and moving I can't just sit in bed all day that has never been me I never could do it "we're not sure I think my dad said maybe a week maybe even a month?" He said to me "mhm mhm" I replied with slow nods "I wanna be up n moving soon" I said a smile forming on my face along with Carl "I'll be right here if you need me syd along with Salem" he said "you need to rest" "that's what everyone tells me I don't wannaaa" I said with a groan "well you have to syd" "ughhh" I said petting Salem softly my headache coming back "meds please" I asked and he gave me a cup of water along with meds I took them "rest now ." He said to me I just nodded as a reply before laying down and Salem hopping up on my bed curling at the bottom of my feet as carl sat down in a chair next to me "goodnight carl.." I said tiredly "goodnight syd." He replied as I slowly closed my eyes falling right back asleep
