I woke up the next day my braid was kinda messy of course I took some clothes and headed to the bathroom I showered got out brushed my teeth and put on some black short leggings that reach about mid thigh almost? And a white baggy ish shirt and I undid my braid my hair falling out curly as I puffed it out I brushed it a bit more straight ish but still curly after said and done I went out seeing Maggie there Glenn gone and Salem gone "Glenn took Salem out with Spencer if that's okay?" Maggie spoke "oh it's fine!" I said "I'm gonna go love you Maggie!" I said opening the door " "love you to syds!" Syds the word stayed in my mind after she said that syds was the only thing my father used to call me I didn't let it stay in thoughts any longer before I went outside I hurried off the steps and went over to the grimes house

I walked in spotting nobody rick not here nor Carl not even michonne all I heard was Judith it was weird Judith only here ? No one else maybe they stepped out the house for a few minutes and went to Olivia's little area? It didn't matter I guess I hurried up the stairs meeting Judith "hi Judy!" I said walking up picking her out of her crib holding her as she gave me a little smile all before I heard the front door open and close up came Carl spotting me he walked up "what are you doing here?" He asked a small smile plastered on his face "I wanted to come see you but you weren't here so I went up and found Judith" I said smiling back he gave me a small kiss before taking Judith out of my hands "you know we were thinking me miles and Enid that we could go over the fence and explore a little." He said "I'm up for it I guess but I have no gun on me I need to get one" I said "then go my dad will be coming in" he said and just like he was summoned I spotted Rick "hi Sydney" he said walking over taking Judith "hi rick!" I said as I made my way past him along with Carl we soon made it out "meet us at that side." He said pointing to the side "got ya." I said hurrying off to the gun area

I made it in i slowly sneaked my way in I spotted a pistol and a silencer I grabbed both and put them both together before I went out I went to the side Carl pointed to I spotted Enid Carl of course and miles and of course a bitching ron he always did this I put the gun in it's holder "hey hey hey why the hell are we agruing huh?" I said walking up and of course it was with Carl and Enid in the agrument to "I'm not talking to you Sydney so stay out of it" ron said "okay I was gonan be nice ron but you can't be a bitch to me and expect me to be nice how about you go fuck off and bitch to someone else about some dumb shit huh?" I said staring at him I was pissed I hate when people say that type of shit to me "no Sydney go away this doesn't involve you." He said I pulled my gun out this time pointing it at him I was tired of his shit "and I told you to fuck off no one will hear this gunshot Ron so like I said fuck off." I said he slowly backed up this time "thank you Ron! Your so sweet!" I said a fake smile plastered on my face as he slowly walked off "bye !!" I said as I put my gun away "okay let's go." I said as we then started climbing over the fence

We were walking around the only sound was Leafs crunching under our feet and some moans and snarls from walkers before I then heard Enid speak "where's miles?" Miles was walking behind us I turned around spotting no miles "motherfucker." I said "miles !" I yelled out as I trailed back soon spotting foot prints going off to the side "this way" I spoke as I followed his foot prints I soon heard a scream in the distance I took my gun out and started running towards the scream "syd! Sydney!" Carl yelled out I soon heard him chase after me I soon spotted miles being hit by a zombie "NO!." I yelled out tears streaming down my face "miles no!.." I said I stuttered a bit from my tears running down my face and the fact I was crying

I failed I failed him he's dead and it's all my fault if I just paused attention..

I watched him get bit into more and more I froze I never froze I soon heard a gun shot it rang in my ears the zombie fell limp miles was dead at this point I didn't bother running towards his corpse "Sydney." I heard Carl say I turned my head to him my eyes probably red from my crying as I felt his hands go up on my cheeks he wiped away my tears before kissing my cheek "let's go back syd come on." His voice softed soft just like a blessing in my ears I just followed him I didn't say a word just followed

We got back Rick and Glenn spotted us perfect this was great "where'd you go ? Where's miles ?" Glenn spoke "hes dead he got bit by a Walker." Carl spoke as I stood beside him his hand grabbed mine as he held my hand a few minutes went by and I felt horrible I had a headache probably from crying I was laying down in carls bed beside him I had my face buried in his chest as he had his hands holding my waist "Sydney." He said his voice soft yet again "do you wanna go back to your house? Or do you wanna stay here syd?" He questioned "Can i just stay here?." I asked back "of course syd" he said as I then soon fell asleep I felt safe in his arms.
