Chapter 7:together.

The next morning I woke up Carl gone ? And Salem ? I was confused so I got up got ready and put my shoes on then headed out the door to the kitchen I saw Carl sitting there Glenn sitting there along with Salem laying under where I sit and Maggie cooking as all ways "Maggie why do you always cook breakfast and dinner?" I ask curious on why Glenn never cooks "cause Glenn cannot cook for the life of him and he will burn everything in Alexandria." Maggie says and Glenn just nods knowing he cannot disagree as I let out a small laugh "well that's one reason.." I say while sitting down

30 minutes go by and we all finished eating and I went out the door Salem not with me instead with Glenn today and Carl with me I walk around the area asking is anyone would go on a run with me a everyone said they had there own runs or jobs to do so I asked Carl

(Carls pov)

I watched as syd walked around the area asking people something I wasn't quite sure what she was asking before she came up to me "do you wanna go on a supply and hunting run? Salem needs more meat for food and I need some bandages and I wanna see if we can find a pet store for Salem" she asked me I just gave a nod and we both grabbed our guns and went outside

(Sydney's pov)

Carl just gave me a nod so I grabbed a newer gun and a newer knife and my bow and arrow I made and headed out Carl right behind me with everything he's had since I met him

1 hour goes by and my legs are tired and i came across a store for bandages and medicine so I grabbed them and I found a clothing/jewelry store me and Carl both grabbed some clothes and I also grabbed some jewelry for me and Maggie I also grabbed some stuff for Michonne and I wanted to go back and Carl was the first to speak up "we should go back syd" I smiled at the nickname he's always used for me since I told him he could all me that I nodded "yeah ." I said looking back at him before I looked back in front I seen a pet store more like a dog store tho I jumped in happiness even tho it made my legs hurt more

(Carls pov)

We came across a lot of stuff on this trip alone I really liked us being alone it was fun and we never got to do runs alone honestly my dad or Glenn or Maggie or Daryl or any adult had to go with us but this was different or atleast I thought so but anywho I knew both our legs were tired so I spoke up "we should go back syd" she nodded and looked back at home "yeah ." She replied I watched as she turned around spotting a dog store she jumped in excitement even tho her legs were tired I smiled at her she smiled and rushed over "hey hey hey syd you don't know if there's walkers" I yelled out

(Sydney's pov)

I Never ran faster knowing my legs were tired at this point they were screaming in protest for me to stop I stopped when I heard Carl yell out "hey hey hey syd you dont know if there's walkers" he said before I turned around "well if there is we both just attracted them by yelling" I said walking backwards before seeing a panicked expression on his face as I heard snarling and growling I turned around stabbing the Walker in the head as Carl made his way over "don't ever walk backwards syd that's rule one" he said to me "to bad to sad oh well" I said as I went in no walkers I was so happy I grabbed some gear for Salem some patches that were left in here a traffic lead a hands free leash and other leashes and a prong collar and a e collar Carl looked at me weirdly before asking "isn't a prong and e collar abuse ?" He said "no it isn't prongs are good for correction If used right and e collars are good for recall and corrections to and can be good for deaf dogs" I said with a smile "but all gear for a dog can be abuse if in the wrong hands Carl." I said

Maybe 3 hours go by and we have just been walking around killing walkers and suddenly we came across a herd of them knowing we both cannot kill them all we started running back to the camp literally running even tho our legs wanted to give out well my legs did making me twist my ankle and then scrape the concrete making my arm and knee a bloody mess for I got up again Carl looked at me shooting the walkers that got close to me as I got up and kept running or atleast trying to my ankle making it hard my arm and knee stinging and then we finally made it back we went inside and Rick and Maggie rushed over in a hurry anyone else killing the walker herd "what the hell happened are you okay" Rick said to Carl "well thanks for asking Rick I'm amazing " I said with a sarcastic tone "did you get bit or scratched or anything" Maggie said panicked "no no just fell and twisted my ankle Carl helped me and killed the walkers that got near me while I was getting up" I said "well atleast y'all were together" Rick said "well atleast we were together" me and Carl both said at the same time making us look at eachother and start laughing for a bit "okay okay let's go we need to get you checked out" Rick said walking with us to where I stayed at and I sat on the porch and I grabbed some stuff to put on my knee and some bandages and I rubbed my knee with alcohol wipes and it stinged so bad "holy fucking hell" I said and Rick laughed a bit "dont laugh rick it hurts like a motherfucker go get hurt and put alcohol wipes on your fresh cuts." I said as Daryl walked over "the fuck happen to you." He said "Fell and twisted my ankle and scraped my arm and knee" I said putting alcohol wipes on my arm now "damn looks like that hurt" he said "actually it didn't cause I have superpowers and I don't feel any pain" I said sarcastically Rick and Maggie let out a little laugh "okay smartass" Daryl says "aww did I make the redneck mad" I said sarcastically once again making Carl also laugh with Maggie and rick "okay Fuck y'all" he said trying to hide his laugh as I wrapped my ankle up in bandages "okay okay I'm gonna go take a nap" I said "same here I'm tired" Carl said "wake me up for dinner Maggie I before going in the house and getting greeted by a happy yet tired Salem "you work her ?" I asked Glenn he nodded "thank you Glenn" I said heading to my room and laying down taking my shoes off Salem also getting in the bed and laying down with me as we both went to sleep

That's the end of this chapter ! I hope y'all are enjoying it so far idk much about this season so this may be a little bit modern !:) this is the longest I've spent on making a wattpad Story Lol i May make another chapter today I'm not sure :)
