Chapter 5:hunting dog.

The next morning after I found salem I woke up she was curled in a ball I walk out of my room new clothes shoes on hair not so nasty looking?salem right next to my side I'm guessing she is well trained "morning." I heard a familiar voice in the kitchen room but not like one I hear every morning I open my eyes from rubbing them to see Daryl fucking Dixon in my kitchen "why are you in my kitchen Dixon.."I sighed me and him basically hated eachother we would agrue anytime we go out on runs anything between us was agruing "calm down I got invited inside" I stare at Maggie and Glenn and Glenn shrugs in his shoulders "I let him in I think it's better for you two you need to stop agruing all the time" Maggie said she sounded like a mom "geez okay mom" I said with a sarcastic tone as I sat down the dog laid under my feet "so why do you got a dog?.." Daryl asked "found her at the gates so I took her in she's a terrier so a good hunter she's a hunting breed she's a bull terrier she looks to be about 2-3 years old and is clearly well trained.." I said with a small smile Glenn staring at me not knowing I had well knowledge about dogs nor knew I was very well educated Daryl staring at me in the same way basically as Maggie put the plates down as we all ate I took some meat off my plate and put it in a bowl for Salem she stared at me waiting "damn dog eat." Daryl said the dog just stared at me "free" I told the dog she finally went to eating she looked underweight well we all looked underweight when the apocalypse started no food no nothing.

A few minutes later I got called out by Daryl I let out a sign we were I guess cool now? I wasn't quite sure Daryl explained I'm going on yet another run with him a hunting one Carl rushed over asking to go also so me and Daryl agreed on letting him go we all walk out I have a gun and a bow and arrow I made myself Salem by my side and Carl walking with me and Daryl it was a hunting run I wasn't quite sure on why I always needed to go on these type of runs or any runs in that sort but they were fun as I was picking some berries off a bush Carl joined in suddenly his hand accidentally touched mine "sorry" he said quietly for some reason "it's fine" I said a pink color on my cheeks Daryl stared at the both of us knowing I liked Carl "okay lovebirds let's go we're not gonna be able to eat berries all the time that's not really real food" Daryl says followed with a grunt/groan and I stare at him "okay Dixon ." I say with a sign Carl looked embarrassed?? I wasn't quite sure

(Daryl's pov)

I watched them pick the berries as Carl "accidentally" touched her hand I knew he did it on purpose he liked her she liked him it was obvious "okay lovebirds let's go we're not gonna be able to eat berries all the time that's not really real food"I said followed with a grunt/groan syd stared at me before speaking "okay Dixon ." She said followed with a sigh and Carl looked embarrassed? Me and Sydney both confused on his emotions his face was for sure red tho..

(Carls pov)

I walked behind them every picking those berries and so called accidentally touching syds hand and just Daryl calling us lovebirds I was almost embarrassed I felt like my face was red before Sydney spoke up "aye Carl?" "Yeah syd?" I replied "are you okay your cheeks are like red ?." She asked a question I could feel Daryl's smirk even with his back turned he knew I liked her "uh I um yeah I'm fine !" I stuttered a bit damnit I sounded stupid probably even looked more stupid

(Sydney's pov)

As we're walking I spoke up yet again seeing a deer and I shot it with a arrow instead of Daryl shooting it I came over and skinned it putting the fur on my shoulder and taking some meat and putting it in a plastic bag I found In one of the houses I raided a few days ago I filled it up all the way with some meat for Salem and put it in my pocket before Salem noticed something else a boar almost ? No a hog ! "Salem stay" I said to Salem and I then sent her off her biting the hog going after it attacking it she held it down just like her breed was meant to do I came over and stabbed the hog in the head before I Daryl did the same thing as me and I filled another plastic bag I had with the meat from the hog

A few hours later we headed back to the place we stayed at I came inside the house and placed the skin from the deer on the bottom of the bed on the floor for my dog to lay on before putting the meat on the counter we had I sighed and I took a shower tired and sleepy the sun setting dinner cooking and this time we had Carl over for dinner I asked Maggie if he could spend the night she agreed and so did Rick to this idea Michonne I guess did to I came out the shower put some new clothes on it felt so good to feel like I wasn't living in a world with flesh eaters I came out and put some meat in the bowl hog and deer meat mixed as the dog ate we all ate our food to me and Carl headed to my room

(Carls pov)

We headed to her room talking about random stuff I almost just wanted to blurt out the fact I liked her or just honestly kiss her I guess but I knew I couldent it was way to soon I looked at her just staring at her as she talked admiring her beauty once more she was just so beautiful how could someone in a world like this look so perfect ? I got interrupted by the sound of her saying my name "huh sorry I zoned out" I smiled a bit embarrassed she caught me staring "so what do you think? About going out tomorrow night ? Like sneak out?" I smiled at the idea of sneaking out and she seemed like she knew I would agree and I knew I would do I could never say no to her  "that seems amazing" I smiled she let out a little giggle

(Sydney's pov)

I was Talking non stop until I asked Carl "so wanna sneak out tomorrow night?" I looked at him he looked zoned out like he was staring at me?? "Carl?.. Carl !" I said he apologized explaining what he was doing "so what do you think? About going out tomorrow night like sneak out?" He smiled I knew he was gonna say yes "that seems amazing" he smiled I let out a little giggle before Maggie came in the room "it's time for bed syd and Carl or atleast me and Glenn are going to sleep so goodnight." She said with a tired grin "goodnight" me and Carl also said back tired our eyes heavy "yeah I'm going to sleep to.." I said as Maggie walked out the room closing the door " same. " Carl agreed we both went to sleep Salem sleeping on the deer fur/skin on the ground

Last chapter for a bit I stayed up till 3am so I decided to make one last one put a hour into this chapter and now I'm tired I hope your all enjoying the story as of right now I'll make a new chapter in the morning or try to goodnight everyone :)
