Making it back to the Helicarrier I had placed my trident on the table. I wanted to check on Bruce and see his progress. When I informed Nick I would be right back he nodded. I knew Loki was being escorted to his holding cell. When I had walked in and stood before Bruce I opened my mouth. He was looking out of the window and soon I followed his eyesight.

Loki was walking by with his eyes stuck on me. A large grin plastered all over his face. When I looked to Bruce he rubbed his eyes after taking his glasses off. "We should head to the bridge. They're gunna want to discuss things I'm sure"

"Yeah. I can imagine"

We walked back to the bridge where Thor, Natasha, and Steve where watching the screen before it went black. Bruce takes off his glasses and can't help but sigh.

"He really grows on you, doesn't he?"

"Loki's gonna drag this out. So, Thor, what's his play?" Steve watches Thor closely since he seems disheartened about Loki.

"He has an army called the Chitauri. They're not of Asgard or any world known. He means to lead them against your people. They will win him the earth. In return, I suspect, for the Tesseract." Thor looked serious. This caught my attention.

"An army? From outer space?" I couldn't help but look to Steve.

"Is that so hard to believe? Before I showed up you didn't know Atlantis existed. I could easily have an army on the surface within minutes." Steve looks to me. "All I'm saying is, it isn't the least bit shocking. More so I'm curious why they'd want to help him"

"So he's building another portal. That's what he needs Erik Selvig for."

"Selvig?"

"He's an astrophysicist."

"He's a friend"

Natasha leaned on the table and looked deep in thought. "Loki has him under some kind of spell, along with one of ours." The last part she showed a bit of hurt.

"I wanna know why Loki let us take him. He's not leading an army from here."

"I don't think we should be focusing on Loki. That guy's brain is a bag full of cats, you could smell crazy on him."

This caused me to give a chuckle as I sat in a chair to the right of Steve. Soon Thor looked a bit offended. "Have care how you speak. Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard, and he's my brother."

Natasha looked up to Thor sternly. "He killed eighty people in two days."

"He's adopted"

This caused me to chuckle again as Steve looked to me as did Natasha. I held my hands up defensively. "That was just a bit funny is all. His reply. Not what Loki's done of course."

"Iridium, what did they need the Iridium for?"

Soon Tony finally walked inside as he speaks up. "It's a stabilizing agent."

We all looked his way now. "I'll fly you there. Keep the love alive. Means the portal won't collapse on itself, like it did at SHIELD."

When Tony tapped Thor's arm he spoke again. "No hard feelings, Point Break. You've got a mean swing." Soon he walked to the screens where Nick normally stands. "Also, it means the portal can open as wide, and stay open as long, as Loki wants."

Tony looks at each screen and clicks a few things on them. "Uh, raise the mid-mast, ship the top sails." Everyone on the bridge looks to Tony now. But he points out. "That man is playing GALAGA! Thought we wouldn't notice. But we did."

When Tony covered his eye and looked to the screen he spoke again. "How does Fury do this?"

The woman known as Maria spoke up. "He turns"
