My Atlantean || Loki x Reader

It had only been two days since your parents died. Everyone has been very respectful of your space. Tony made special glass caskets for your mother and father. Of course you made sure they where both beside each other. When you had informed him they'd be taken back to Atlantis for a proper farewell he made sure they'd be able to handle that depth for you. Tony normally always had a sarcastic remark but he had been such an understanding friend to you these past few days.

You stood beside the caskets and looked to your mother and father. Before they where closed you made sure to place a trident beside her and interlock their fingers together. Because they loved each other no matter how far apart, no matter what they had to go through, and no matter how much time had past. You placed your hand on top of their casket and closed your eyes. You of course had to calm yourself before you had made the call back to Nidius.

Of course when he had called your brother in you broke the news to him as well. His reaction was just like yours. She was still his mother too and he was heart broken. He had only met your father a few times and he did seem to come around and felt pain that he died too. But seeing your brother cry and hurt for the death of your mother almost broke you all over again. You had vowed to take Black Manta down for what he has done and you promised to be bringing your parents to Atlantis. Your mother had always wished he could see her home.

It just hurt at the fact he was going to be there for a funeral and not to experience it and it's wonders as he had dreamt of. Loki through the last two days had been the most supportive and helping you through this. He had made sure you drank water, ate what you could as long as it was something, and that you had slept. He was also there for you to cry on. He didn't ask questions or pry. He was just there for you and it was so appreciated you couldn't express it through words.

You knew that you where going to leave for Atlantis tomorrow and you wanted everyone to come along. So you had spoken to Nidius about it and of course they where all high honored guests. He had informed you that your guards would bring the necessary equipment and a vehicle to drive you all to Atlantis. As you left your parents you went to the living area to tell everyone. Or, more so ask. When you walked out of the elevator they all lifted their heads. Seeing you they felt sorrow. The air heavy. You took in a breath and walked to the middle of the room.

Loki watched you like a hawk and he closed his book as he gently gripped the book. Ever since he has held you these past few days he hasn't ever wanted to go back to how things used to be. Having you in his arms made him feel complete. It made him feel...whole? If his race could feel that way, that is. But, he wanted to have you close like that always.

"Everyone I have something to ask you"

Everyone stopped what they where doing and turned their heads to you.

"I am taking my mother and father back with me to Atlantis for their funeral. They deserve a proper and honorable departure" you let out a shaky breath.

Everyone thankfully gave you time and didn't interrupt you in the slightest. Their eyes showing complete understanding and you realized you had some of the best and most reliable friends anyone could ask for.

"I would like you all to join me in sending them off."

They raised their eyebrows at this and looked to each other. Finally it was Bruce who spoke up. He didn't know how his Hulk side would be in water. But, he wanted to be there for you.

"I mean, it seems we all wanna be there. But, it's underwater. How are we gunna be able to do that? We can breath like you"

You smiled at him. "I have my people bringing the proper tech so that won't be a problem"
