My Atlantean || Loki x Reader

You had been getting help from the other avengers to hunt down teams of Black Manta's people. You've been taking them out or getting them alive and they'd end up not talking when Nick would try to interrogate them. You where getting frustrated with each group you'd all take out and yet Black Manta still wasn't with them. Tony had wanted you to not go and keep you as their best chest piece. You hated it but you also loved the idea. Freak Manta out when the full true fight would start.

Loki, Steve, Nat, and Tony where at one of Manta's bases to the west of Atlantis. Closer to the Fishermen kingdom. You had checked off the base they destroyed near the Brine kingdom. The smile that was on your face hearing how happy Brine was to help take out Manta's people made you chuckle. Manta was an idiot for going there. But, the Fishermen where a sweet people. Wise and loved knowledge. If he hurt any of them you'd never forgive him more then you already did. Was that even possible?

Sighing for a moment you heard the Elevator ding in the lab as you checked off a few things on the 3D computer. Bruce brought you some food and coffee. You smiled at him happily.

"Thank you Bruce."

"Anytime. You've been working just as hard as all of us"

As you took your coffee you drank some of its wonderful contents. The sigh that escaped your lips made Bruce smile and gave a small chuckle.

"What's with you and coffee?"

Taking another sip you looked to him. "Coffee is a woman's best friend, Bruce. Everything else is second"

He raised a brow looking a bit hurt "I'm hurt y/n"

Shaking your head you clicked on a few things looking for a new ship. Thor came in and gave a soft smile.

"Greetings Bruce, lady Y/n"

"Thor" Bruce greeted

"How can we help you Thor?" You asked nicely typing away.

"I am here to aid you actually. While flying over the waters I noticed a ship in the shape of a stingray."

This made you and Bruce stop. Thor looked proud to have got your attention to well.

"It's heading not far off from Atlantis. To the south I believe"

You looked to him confused. "Are you sure?"

"Yes, absolutely"

You tapped your chin a bit and walked back and forth slightly. Thor was a bit confused since he would have figured you'd be more than happy to know and find out about another ship to follow and soon take out.

"What's the matter y/n?"

Bruce was confused as well. Thankfully when he was curious he couldn't help but blurt out questions.

"It's just... the trench is in the south"

Thor and Bruce just looked to each other and Thor shrugged not knowing what you where talking about.

"The trench?" Thor questioned

"Oh! Sorry! Yes, the trench. It is where one of the kingdoms that where apart of Atlantis fell when we were above water." You continued to tap your chip deep in thought trying to keep the tail of the story apart from your running wild brain. "The trench is so cold, so dark, so silent that it's said they went insane there. I never believed it — at first. Then I had to go through them to get to my grandfather"

Bruce and Thor just watched you as you finally stopped. You didn't understand why Black Manta would even go near there. He didn't know about the trench like you did. He didn't know how deadly they where.
