You woke up to one of the maids knocking on your door that morning. The groan that left you was almost otherworldly. When you rolled over your arm hit the mattress. That's when you opened your eyes fully seeing Loki wasn't there. You where curious why he was red and sat up. The maid came in as you held the cover over your chest. She bowed to you and handed you a note.
My love, I hate to inform you that I couldn't stay this morning. Father wanted to have a discussion with me. What about I am not sure. But normally it isn't ever good when it comes to him and I. I hope the morning suits you well while I am away. Know that I miss you very much. Talk soon

You couldn't help but smile softly seeing this note. You never would've imagined Loki being such a sweet romantic before. More so after you had to stop him from taking over New York a year ago. When you looked to the maid who was working the fastest you've ever seen to pick up your clothes and clean up she went into the bathroom and started to run you a hot bath. She walked out and bowed her head respectfully.
"Your bath is ready my lady"
You just smiled "please, y/n is okay. Thank you so much"
The maid smiled warmly at you as you grabbed the covers heading into the bathroom. The smell of lavender and chamomile filled the air. You took in a deep breath and let it out once your legs hit the water. Loki was definitely right, he made your legs a bit hard to walk this morning. As you fully laid into the water you gave a satisfactory moan. The hot water felt amazing on your body and your aching lower half.
While you relaxed the maid walked back in and held her hands together.
"May I wash your hair my lady?"
You blinked a few times "oh! Um, sure?"
You where not used to someone washing your hair. You normally didn't it yourself when you where away from Atlantis. Besides, you even took care of your own hair while at Atlantis. Feeling the maids hands massage your hair and add shampoos and conditioner you couldn't help but love it. Your eyes half closed as you smiled. You couldn't help but realize how much she was going out of her way. Did all the maids do this?
"If I may ask. Does this castle have any butlers? Or just maids?"
The maid kept washing your hair "we have both my lady"
"You don't need to be so formal with me. You can be open"
The maid felt a bit weird since you gave her that privilege. But she did. You learned her name was Kate and she loved plants and growing crops. She helped you walk into your room with a towel as she opened your wardrobe.
"These are new clothes for you my lady. Please pick one and I shall help you put it on"
You smiled at her and looked to the beautiful clothes. The fabric again was incredible.
"This one for sure!"
