You had stopped throwing up after a few minutes of starting. Loki helped you stand so you could brush your teeth. You didn't know what Bruce wanted to check but you didn't want to be sick or something. Loki went with you back to the lab and Bruce was sitting in a chair.
"Sit right here. Let's take a blood sample"
"Oooh no can do"
"Why not? Are you scared of needles?" Bruce genuinely asked
You smiled softly shaking your head "no. That needle can't go into my skin remember?"
Bruce realized this might end up being a bit more difficult. You sat down after moving your trident from your back. You gently laid it down on the table and moved some of your hair.
"Here. Let me do it. Just, be ready. I don't know what your looking for. I never get sick"
Loki held your trident still for you. As you gave him a soft smile in thanks he watched as you cut your arm good enough for Bruce to start grabbing samples. As much as he hated seeing you hurt he knew you had a point. If blood tests where going to be done that needle wouldn't get anything. Bruce got to work and had enough for four viles of blood. He gave you a cotton ball to hold over your wound and thankfully it started to slowly heal up.
Loki moved your trident and softly moved your hand. "Let me"
Your eyes moved up to look him in the eye. As his eyes met yours his tender fingers landed on top of the cut. A warmth started to form over the cut you had made for yourself. His bright green magic circled your arm. Your heart started to pound heavily in your chest and your stomach held butterflies. After being together for this short while that you have been you where more then sure you'd never get over the way Loki made you feel.
He made your nerves burn up and made you feel safe all at the same time. How it was possible you didn't know nor did you care. As Loki looked you in the eye he had felt the exact same feeling. Bruce watched you two after he started to test the first vile of blood. Bruce had to admit he envied how you and Loki felt for one another. How strong it was, pure, and strong.
"It'll take about two hours to test all of these. You two can um — go. I'll have JARVIS call you when it's ready"
"Oh, um, thanks, Bruce"
You cleared your throat blushing a bit. Making sure to pick up your trident Loki had a bit of red on his own cheeks as he followed behind you.

Making it to one of the meeting rooms you had started up your communicator and filled in Nidius about where Black Manta could be. Loki was reading on of the books you let him bring back from Atlantis. Or, more so it was reading to him. It's named shined brightly on the cover, The History of Atlantis. You side eyed Loki while you heard Nidius give orders to go and scout close to the coordinates you had provided.
"I'll make sure it's done and we'll send over anything we find y/n"
"Thank you Nidius"
When the connection ended you grabbed it and placed it back on your belt. The smile on your face grew wider seeing Loki's eyes following the words closely. In the books Atlantis held when there was video footage or pictures it made the words vanish and then it showed the picture/videos. He was so focused on the book he didn't even notice you walk up behind him. He was fascinated by how your people went to being one of the worlds leading technologically advanced beings to how you fell due to your own ambitions.
It even held how your grandfather King Atlas grew a close bond and friendship with his father, Odin. How they shared in their technological development. It even showed a picture of them together and a video where Odin praised your grandfather. You noticed that picture and it snapped in your head how that was the picture that had been placed in your room. You always loved that picture of your grandfather, until now you had no idea who he was with.
