My Atlantean || Loki x Reader

Prologue 

After being the Queen of Atlantis for a good two years now my advisor and long time friend Nuidis Vulko swims over to me as I held onto my golden trident. "Your majesty" he bowed his head to me as I chuckled. "Nuidis. You've known me since I was a kid. Just call me y/n" smiling his way he couldn't help but smile bright at me.

"Force of habit. I must inform you a surface dweller by the name of Nick Furry has somehow made contact with us" I raised my brow at him. No person on the surface knows about anything under the ocean. Sure, there was a crazy guy who knew somehow but no one believed him. It's how we wanted to keep it. "Nick furry? Never heard of em" I placed my trident on my back with a special attachment I made so I didn't need to carry it all the time. "Neither have I. But he seems well equipped. So he requests to visit with you on the surface."

Folding my arms and looking outside of my studies window I gave a hmm noise. "What do you think I should do, Nidius?" He put his hands together in front of himself in thought. He was just as curious as I was that was for sure. "I say we meet him. Of course take some guards to help you in case. But no other surface dweller has ever made contact. We should see what he wants" I gave a sigh and smiled his way. "Thanks. I'll leave now with a small group."

Swimming over to my communicator I placed it on my suits belt. He watched me. "I shall accompany you. Your mother can watch over things here until our return" looking his way my h/c hair floated around as I smiled thinking of my mother. After my super long talk with my half brother I picked to let him be free. But I made sure after his attempt he had no way of becoming king again. Then again, him and I oddly got along so well we became protective of each other.

"Have someone inform my mother that way she knows. I'll meet you at the ship" I swam past him as he bowed his head. "Yes, y/n" he swam to do as he was ordered as I made it to a large ship that could hold myself, Nidius, and a few guards. I was curious what this person wanted. Hopefully he hasn't messed with my father at his home. My mother had come back down to visit us and make sure I wasn't stressing to much like she always did. When Nidius came swimming up to me with a few of our more elite guard in their red suits I nodded to them. They bowed to me in respect. "Your majesty!" They said together as I smiled.

"Let's get out of here guys" we got into the ship and I watched as one of them controlled it. Having us leave Atlantis I couldn't help but still be in awe by this city. It was literally a whole other world down here. Technology far more advanced then anything anyone above ground could come up with. Or, at least that's what I thought. When I last visited my father I had heard of someone called Tony Stark who was in the process of making clean renewable energy for everyone on land. I had to admit, I was surprised.

Thankfully I was very good at remembering things and taking in new information. So learning about Atlantis it's ways, traditions, technology and so on was almost a breeze for me. Our technology was far better then Tony Starks, but I was curious how close it was. Our ship quickly made it to the shores of Hawaii. This Nick Furry would be waiting for us on a private beach only accessible to the native people. Thankfully, he somehow had ways to get there for this meeting.

Finally making it there I grabbed my trident off of my back and swam until we needed to start walking. As I put it in the ground as I walked calmly out of the waters my guards behind me and Nidius I noticed a man standing there with an eye patch with his own guards and even a woman beside him. He had his hands behind himself and he watched me closely. "Your majesty"

I raised a brow and looked at them all. "You must be Nick Furry" he nodded "and your the queen of Atlantis" I gave a smirk and held onto my trident that he was looking at now. "Just y/n will do for now. How did you find out about my Kingdom?" He looked back at me as he studied my face. When he eyed my guards and even Nidius we waited for his reply. "It wasn't hard to see such signatures. We have advanced tech at my base. We've been keeping an eye on the earths most advanced people"

Nidius leaned close to me. "There are others?" I shrugged and soon Nick continued. "Im building a team y/n. I won't lie I'll just say it. I want you apart of it" I raised a brow "I'm afraid a queen doesn't have time to go off and play hero whenever you wish to call. As awesome as it does sound" he held a folder and handed it to me "it's not just any type of hero mission. It's the avenger program." Taking the thing that was like a laptop Nidius eyed it curiously. When I opened it I clicked the button and soon I saw a few pictures and files of people flash. Nidius and I where quickly taking in the information.

As I eyed the others he planned to go for Tony Stark aka Ironman, Bruce Banner aka The Hulk, Steve Rodgers aka Captain America, Clint Barton aka Hawkeye, Natalia Alianovna aka Black Widow, and one that stood out Thor from Asgard. Nidius and I looked to that last one and his sheet a bit curious. "Asgardians are in this team?" Nick looked to Nidius and raised his brows "so you know of them?" He nods "we've gotten odd readings on the surface before. Far more advanced then anything normal surface dwellers have"

"Well, you'd be correct. He's Thor from the legends, and he's apart of our team" as I sent all of this information to Nidius he used his little pad he always had on his hip so he could file it. "So, why are you making such a team?" I couldn't help but be curious since he hasn't told us yet. He clears his throat. "A day ago we where studying a cube known as the tesseract. Nothing was wrong with it until someone came out of a portal. He was hostile. He attacked everyone and took two of the most loyal people I know" he looked rather disappointed by this.

"One of them is in that file. Known as Hawkeye. This being used this scepter and turned them. I don't know how it works. But I tend to find out. But we need to get him. To do that I need this team" Nidius was thinking about this when he remembered reading about cubes of power. "Your majesty. I've read about cubes of power. Long ago when Atlantis was above water your grandfather had one" everyone looked his way. I was a bit surprised hearing this. "Unfortunately, it's how our people fell. We got to ambitious. Now we live under water. But, the cube went away when this happened. If the cube is missing and this person from another realm seeks it. We could all be in danger"

Hearing his urgency I realized maybe I should truly consider taking his offer. "So, your saying it would be in the best interest of the whole Kingdom to join and stop this?" Nidius nodded respectfully. I knew he was putting on an act and not using my name since we are standing before strangers. But I trusted him and his judgment. He's never lied to me before and I didn't want anything happening to the Kingdom. Since we finally where all united thanks to me, I had a duty to join the avengers and protect all my oceans.

Looking to this man known as Nick Furry I gripped my trident. My crown on my head (like the mother Atlanta) clung to my head tight. "So when do we leave?" Nick smirked and held out his hand "welcome to the avengers your majesty" I shook his head and looked over to Nidius. "I will keep you updated about all my progress. I have my communicator. I'll leave with them now. Go and inform my mother and brother. But she and you are to handle things while I'm away." Nidius bowed his head respectfully and the guards bowed respectfully. "Yes your majesty"

As I turned and placed my trident on my back the sun hit my black suit and had it shimmer a green shimmer. "Let's go and meet the others on the new base"
