My Atlantean || Loki x Reader

As soon as you walked into the lab where Tony and Bruce where at, you realized Thor was also there as was Natasha. They all looked at you with stern faces. Well, all but Tony had a stern face. "What?"

"What the fuck was that?" Finally Nick entered the lab.

"What was what?" I couldn't help but reply.

"Cut the crap. Why where you in there alone with Loki?" Nick glared my way with his one eye.

"I went in because I had questions. So I assume you all heard?"

"We all watched it actually." Tony spoke this calmly and in his normal tone.

"Look, I don't get the big deal. Thanks to me we now realize what he is planning and why he let us take him" I spoke matter of factly.

This made Nick clench his jaw as he watched me carefully. "That maybe. But next time go by the protocols"

I rolled my eyes after he commented that as Nick finally took his attention to Tony and Bruce and realized they stopped their work on the scepter.

"What are you doing Mr. stark?" Nick spoke a bit angry.

"Uh...kind of been wondering the same thing about you." Tony replied fast now realizing the attention was at him.

"You're supposed to be locating the Tesseract."

"We are. The model's locked and we're sweeping for the signature now. When we get a hit, we'll have the location within half a mile." Bruce finally spoke up.

"And you'll get your cube back, no muss, no fuss." Tony heard his monitor make noise as he pulled it out of his pocket. "What is PHASE 2?"

This caught my attention but as soon as I could ask Steve walked into the room holding a weapon that I realized was from a picture in his file. It was a HYDRA weapon, when my eyes went to his face he looked absolutely pissed to say the least.

"PHASE 2 is SHIELD uses the cube to make weapons." Steve spoke angry. "Sorry, the computer was moving a little slow."

"Rogers, we gathered everything related to the Tesseract. This does not mean that we're..." Nick was trying to explain but was having a hard time.

"I'm sorry, Nick." Tony spoke as he shows his computers monitor so Nick could see it.

"What were you lying?"

"I was wrong, director. The world hasn't changed a bit." Steve spoke this harshly.

Natasha and Thor looked at everyone and Bruce looked to Natasha pissed.

"Did you know about this?"

"You wanna think about removing yourself from this environment, doctor?" Natasha said calmly.

"I was in Calcutta, I was pretty well removed." Bruce spat back.

"Loki's manipulating you."

"And you've been doing what exactly?"

I couldn't help but groan a bit from all this high level of energy as I stood by Thor who was also watching all this unfold. He and I seemed to be the odd balls out not losing our cool.

"You didn't come here because I bat my eyelashes at you." Natasha spoke a bit more stern.

"Yes, and I'm not leaving because suddenly you get a little twitchy. I'd like to know why SHIELD is using the Tesseract to build weapons of mass destruction." Bruce spoke harsher now.

"Because of them!" Nick spoke harsh after pointing at Thor and I.

"Us?" I spoke rather flabbergasted.
