My Atlantean || Loki x Reader

A/N: haha! Double post Wednesday

The last few days have been going by rather smoothly. Everyone's gone about their business, Loki has been trying to be friendly with the others. Much to your request, otherwise he'd not even bother. The rooms had been finished and everyone was on one level and since they didn't want to be fully near Loki just yet you and him where on one level by yourselves.

Each room holding a door symbol of who they are. Yours held a trident and Loki's had a symbol of his helmet. But you where in your room with Tony and Bruce fixing up a stable spot for your link to Atlantis. You made a stable link and once the glass came in Tony had it filled with water. Thankfully the white light was on the floor so the water inside would turn into the shape of the persons body. When it wasn't being used it would make gentle sounds from the water inside.

When that was finally done Nidius answered your call to test it out.

"It works perfect! Can you see us clearly, Nidius?"

"Your coming in perfectly your majesty" Nidius smiled proudly.

You thanked him and turned off the link. Tony made it so all you had to do was use a touch screen to activate it.

"This is beautiful gills. Probably the best I've made in awhile" Tony looked at his work

You smirked and walked with him up to the elevator to go into the living area. When you both walked out everyone was doing their own thing. Nat was on a mission, Steve was watching tv with Thor, Clint was fixing his bow after crawling through the vents, Loki was reading a book but he stopped for a moment to take a look at you. He smirked your way and went back to reading.

You had seen him looking at you as you just smiled. Things where going well with him. You where getting more close and getting used to each other. But, nothing was so set and stone. There wasn't a need to rush.

"Coffee time." You said grabbing a cup.

"You and coffee gills"

"Can you please pick a new nickname for me?" You rolled your eyes.

The nickname was so silly and took so little effort. For a smart man you realized he just got lazy with your nickname and not everyone else's. Tony tapped his chin thinking about your request.

"Oh! I know"

You could feel another eye roll coming on but you finished up your favorite caramel iced latte and turned to him.

"How about, waves?"

You stopped mid sip to speak, but no words came. You had guessed it was better then gills which was driving you nuts.

"Better then nothing I guess mr. Genius" you spoke sarcastically

This caused Loki to give a smirk and a head shake.

"Mrs. Curry. There is a call coming in for you. I believe it's from your father"

"Oh? Let me have it"

When you replied to him the screen came down to show your father and also your mother. Who had picked to join him. You smiled so brightly seeing them together. They where literally the role models of true love for you. Everyone noticed how happy you got as they all waved behind you and you chuckled. Loki also noticed how happy you got seeing your parents. He almost envied you but he was so happy to see you happy.

"Mom! Dad! Where are you?" You asked curious about their background.

"Hey, sweetie! We are actually on our way up Stark Tower now"
