My Atlantean || Loki x Reader

Everyone had gotten into their suits and finally walked to you at the edge of the coast. When you turned to them they all looked determined and ready for battle. Well, as ready as anyone could be for battle that is.

"Everyone ready?" You asked.

"Ready" Nat said.

Tony put his hands on his hips in his Ironman suit. "Are ready as we can be waves"

The royal guards walked out of the water to escort them into the vehicle to take them there.

"You guys get inside the vehicle. They'll get you to the the front lines. From what the update said Manta has been shooting at my soldiers. They're holding off the blasts as best as they can"

"You aren't coming with us?" Steve asked

You chuckled and grabbed your trident. "Oh, I'm coming of course. I just don't need to be in a vehicle to get there"

You looked to Loki and winked his way. He smirked at your playfulness. Everyone got into the water and the guard made sure all were inside. You swam in front of the vehicle and held your trident in your right hand.

"Alright. With me"

Your voice echoed under the water. As you turned around you blasted forward quickly. Everyone but the guards gasped at how fast you were. They had seen you on radar moving fast. But actually seeing you go this fast was another thing. The vehicle was barely keeping up with you but they could still see the bright golden glow of your trident. After a good twenty minutes the vehicle stopped and as everyone got out they noticed soldiers riding some sea animals.

"Is that...a dinosaur?" Clint asked shocked

You swam beside him and smirked "yup. The sea ones didn't actually go extinct. We ride them into battles and keep some as loyal pets"

"Holy mother of god" Steve said softly seeing all of them.

You pointed into the large war ship. The door opened to show Nidius. He swam up and hugged you and you smiled.

"Fill them in for me Nidius. I'm going to get a friend"

"As you wish your majesty" Nidius bowed his head.

You shot off down below as Nidius held his hand out to the war ship. Everyone swam inside and noticed two red headed men by the map.

"This is King Nereus and his son Marcus."

"Former king. Since our queen got the trident we are all just her generals now" Nereus replied

"Pleasure to finally meet you all" Marcus smirked

Loki narrowed his eyes at him. He still remembered how he volunteered himself to be with you as your king if push comes to shove. But he realized that would need to wait for another time.

"Now, he's been testing the defenses for awhile. That piece of the black trident has been glowing brighter. We have had some assaults from the trench."

"Is the black trident able to control them?" Steve asked

"Yes. But so is our Queens trident. If Manta has actually found away to use the trench we are going to be in some deep shit. Literally." Nereus said.

Marcus sighed "it's been getting stronger. So we are worried that he's found more pieces. If that happens when he fights Y/n it could prove more.... irritating."

Nidius sighed frustration all over his face. "I believe in our queen. She won't allow the trench to attack anyone or harm the kingdom's. But we have to help her hold the line"
