Chapter 5

Kuro was sitting in his room when a knock was heard.

Kuro: Coming!

It was Toshinori in his All Might mode.

All Might: Good morning, Young Yagi! I AM ALL MIGHT! AND I AM HERE WITH YOUR RESULTS!!!

Kuro: You can do that normally too, dad.

All Might: But that takes away the feeling of it.

Kuro: I said, stop pushing yourself!

All Might: Sorry...

He turned into his skinny form while spitting blood, as he wipes the blood off of his face and connects a USB to Kuro's laptop.

Toshinori: Young man... I want to let you know that even though I was among the judging panel, I requested the judges to judge you just like any other student and not as my son. Even then, you were able to score a total of 81% in the written exams, and as for the practical exams, your final score was 39 points. This was itself enough to get you a place in the hero course, but then this came up.

He played a video on the laptop that showed Kuro making a spot larger than he had ever made, just to prevent the zero pointer from crushing people that were complete strangers to him.

Toshinori: In all the years that I've been a pro, I've come across many people, heroic, and villanious, but in almost every single heroic person, one thing remained common. At some point in their lives, all they wanted was to save others. "My body moved on its own". These words depicted just how noble and warm their hearts were. And on that day, that's what happened to you too, right?

Kuro feels a small blush go across his face from the praise as he sheepishly scratches the side of his face.

Toshinori: How can a hero course ignore someone who saves others and does the right thing? Call that lip service? Bring it on!

He turns into his buff form as he proudly smiles at his son.

All Might: That's why we had rescue points! Kuromaru Yagi! 55 rescue points! As the number one hero, AND, as your dad, I'm proud to announce, that you, Kuro, have passed! And you are on your way, to become a hero!

He opens his arms wide, signaling the boy for a hug.

All Might: Now come here and hug it out, son! You are accepted in the hero course of UA High! THIS... is your hero academia!

Kuro couldn't help but feel a few tears fall out of his eyes as he runs and hugs the humongous figure. All Might softly pats Kuro's head as Kuro slowly raises his head.

Kuro: Wait... what about Jirou?

The man suddenly is forced to go back to his skeleton form as he coughs blood.

Toshinori: Young Jirou also passed with excellent points. And so did Young Midoriya.

Kuro: Thanks so much, dad!

Toshinori: Hey...

The boy looks at his dad.

Toshinori: During the exams, when you made that last spot to put the zero pointer in your void, you shook your head, as if you were trying to shake something away. That had never happened before. Everything alright?

Kuro: ... No, it was nothing. Just a minor headache.

Toshinori hesitates, but decides to let the matter go as he sighs.

Toshinori: Alright. Just know that if something were to happen, I'm here for you, okay?

Kuro: Yeah, thanks dad.
