*SKIPPING TIME ON X FACTOR COZ I CAN*
*GRAND FINALE*
Perrie's P.O.V
I was literally shaking. I couldn't believe we made it to the Grand Finale! We have gotten further than any other girl band has in X Factor, ever. It's quite a shock and a relief at the same time if you know what I mean. We have performed our single 'Cannonball' which is by Damien Rice, we just covered it. Now we have to wait for Marcus Collins, the other finalist, to sing his single. The girls were off gossiping somewhere while I decided to text my friend Jenna. I miss her and everyone else back at home. But this is my dream right? Soon enough we were called back on stage and it was time to announce the winner of X Factor 2011.
"The winner, of the X Factor 2011 is....." the host dragged the answer out for as long as possible like they always do to make it seem more dramatic. We were standing on stage in a line all holding hands with Tulisa, our mentor. The host slowly opened up the envelope and brought the microphone to his mouth. "LITTLE MIIIIIIXXX!!!" Holy. Fuc-Fudgecakes. We won! I started jumping up and down like a maniac and hugged the girls. We were all in tears because we were so happy. I went over and hugged Marcus, because well, he deserves it.
"Good job, Marcus" I said to him.
"Congrats" he said, smiling. I walked back over to the girls and we were about to be interviewed.
"So, Little Mix *crowd cheers* how does it feel to be the first ever girl band to win *crowd cheers* the X Factor?!" said the host.
"It's absolutely amazing I mean, we never expected to get this far and well, look at us now!" Leigh-Anne said into the microphone. The crowd was going wild. I could barely hear myself think!
"Now, Perrie, how do you think Little Mix will do from now on?" he asked me.
I looked at Jade, Jesy and Leigh-Anne and answered "We can only go up from here. There's no stopping us now!" I replied.
"And Jade, how do you feel right now at this very moment?"
"I am completely overwhelmed! I never expected to get this far with a group of fantastic girls who are now my best friends, I couldn't ask for more!" Jade replied. Soon the interview was over and we were in a car on our way to an after party? Wow, I really cant wait!
