Zayn's P.O.V

As soon as my plane landed, I jumped out of my seat and almost ran off the plane. I waited impatiently for my luggage to roll across the spinny thing. As it did I grabbed it quickly and made my way out of the airport. I kept my head down low and only looked up when I heard a car honk. When I did, I saw Mum and Debbie sitting in the front, small smiles on their faces. I walked quickly to the car and put my suitcase in the boot, before climbing into the back seat.

"Hey Mum. Hey Debbie." I said.

"Hello Zayn. You're such a good boy for coming out here so quickly." Mum said. Ugh, 'good boy'. Uh hello? I'm not 10 anymore Mum.

"Yeah, well, I guess Perrie needs me here, so here I am." I replied, shrugging my shoulders, "It was no big deal anyway." I included before either of them could say anything.

"Perrie is so lucky to have someone like you Zayn." Debbie said after about ten minutes on the road. I nodded.

"If she needs me then I'm there.' I said faintly, mostly to myself. Mum looked at me through the review mirror, eyebrows raised.

'I love her Mum. What do you expect?" I asked a tad agitated.

"Honey, I didn't ask anything." she said back.

"You implied the question through your facial expressions." I said simply, before getting out my phone and listening to music, but not before I heard Mum sigh. All I wanted was to get to Perrie as soon as possible. I just need to see her. I closed my eyes and ended up drifting asleep.

...........

"Zayn.. Zayn.. Zayn wake up baby.. Zayn." I heard my mothers voice pull me out from my slumber.

"What?" I grumbled, rubbing my eyes, Ed Sheeran's 'Kiss Me' playing in the background. Annoyed, I pulled my headphones out of my ears and looked out the window.

"Zayn!" Mums voice interrupted my thoughts.

"Mum! I'm up!" I said back.

"Well then get out of the car!" She yelled back as she walked up the path to the front door. I sighed and got out of the car. Don't get me wrong I'm happy to be here, but for a very unhappy reason. I slowly walked up to the front door and let myself in. It's not like they'll care anyway. I slowly walked into the lounge room, expecting the worst. I didn't get worse, I got bad, if that makes sense. Debbie was sitting next to Mary, who was bawling her eyes out. Debbie had a few tears trailing Dow her cheeks. Mum was sitting on the recliner, tears forming in her eyes. I'm not quite sure but I think that Mum and Craig were very good friends when they were little. Debbie noticed me standing there awkwardly and nodded towards the staircase.

"Go on Zayn. Perrie's in her room." She said shakily.

"Thank you. And I'm sorry.." I said, trying not to tear up..

"It's fine Zayn. Everyone has their time to go. Apparently it was Craig's time on Wednesday.." She got out before sobs took over her body. I nodded sadly(if you can even do that) and headed upstairs to Perrie's room. I knocked on the door lightly.

"Go away!" Perrie's broken voice came through the wood.

"It's Zayn, love." I said quietly, hoping she'll let me in. I heard rustling on the other side of the door and soon the door opened, revealing a very vulnerable girl. Blue stood out against the redness of her eyes, tear tracks running down her beautiful face, mascara smudged, hair messy, white tank top and sweats all crinkled looking like they haven't been taken off for a few days.

"Z-Zayn? What are you doing here?" Perrie asked, looking down.

"I'm here because I love you and I want to help you through this. I've been in the exact same situation." I replied, placing my hands on her shoulders lightly. She looked so broken, and that broke my heart. I pulled her in for a hug, which she gladly accepted. She wrapped her arms around my waist tightly and buried her face in my chest. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer, if that was possible. I don't know how long we stayed like that, but soon Debbie came up and asked us if we wanted afternoon tea, which we both accepted, since Perrie's stomach rumbled at that moment. She smiled weakly at the noise that came from her stomach and grabbed my hand and lead me downstairs.

.........

"Zayn, help clean up please." Mum asked me after we had finished eating.

"Tricia, don't be ridiculous. We can handle it." Debbie said. She looked at me and shook her head. I looked at Mum and she sighed and did the same. Perrie cleared the table of the dishes and put them in the sink. She started to wash them but Debbie stopped her.

"Go upstairs with Zayn, hun. Just relax." She suggested, to which Perrie nodded and grabbed my hand, leading me upstairs to her room. Her room was a lot different to the one back in London. It was not as big, but still had a double bed in the middle if the room. The walls were painted a light green colour, pictures and posters here and there. The floor was white carpet, a few stains here and there due to oldness I suppose. There were clothes on the floor and the desk chair, and her desk was covered in makeup and books. I made my way over to the bed where Perrie was already comfortable, lying on her side, curled up. I pulled off my shoes and coat and lay down next to her. As soon as I did, she snuggled into me. She looks so cute. We stayed like that, not talking, for a while. It was nice. I think I ended up falling asleep, but I'm not sure. If I did, I was woken up by lips being pressed on mine.

"Zayn.. Babe wake up." I slowly opened my eyes, and found myself staring into the blue ones that made me flutter inside. Oh don't look at me like that, your stomach would flutter if you looked at the one that you loved.

"Yes, love?" I asked, smiling.

"Just wanted to say I love you, and I'm bored. You were asleep and I had nothing to do." She replied, smiling cheekily.

"Oh really? I know something we can do." I smirked, watching her reaction.

"Zayn!" Perrie scolded and slapped my chest. I chuckled and pulled her in closer and kissed the top of her nose, making it scrunch up.

"I think you missed, Hun." She said before directing my lips to hers. Her lips were soft against my slightly chapped ones. The kiss got a bit heated, but Perrie stopped it after I flipped us over so I was on top.

"Zayn, no- we can't." she said breathlessly.

"Why not?" I asked, kissing her neck.

"B-Because! Our mothers are here a-and it's a sad t-time for us!" Perrie barely got out of her mouth, as I was now sucking on her sweet spot.

"Maybe.. This'll make you forget your sadness for a while.. Have some fun babe." I said, while I stopped kissing her neck and re-positioned myself above her.

"I'll have some fun when I'm not mourning over my Uncle, Zayn!" She screeched. I sighed and got off of her. She ran out of the room while I lay down on the bed. I'm an idiot. I shouldn't have done that, especially now. I stood up and put on my shoes and pulled my coat on. I slowly walked down the stairs to find Mum and Debbie on the couch. No Perrie.

"She grabbed her shoes and a coat and ran out," Debbie said, annoyed. "You cant last one day without making my daughter upset now can you? What did you do Zayn?"

"Deb!" Mum said.

"Mum don't worry about it. Do you know where she went?" I asked. They shook their heads and I cursed. I said a quick goodbye and then rushed out the door. Where would she go? What's her favourite place to go Zayn? C'mon, think! The park? The beach? Jesus Zayn, you don't even know what her favourite place to go is! Wait! Isn't there like a lagoon around here? Think Zayn! Yes! There is! I ran to the park which ran into a forest which turned into a lagoon. If that makes sense. I got a few scratches here and there while running through the forest, seeing as I didn't really pay attention to where I was going. It's getting dark and I need to find Perrie. You're probably wondering, why would I be looking for her if I made her run away? Pfft, I don't now either. I kept running until I reached the clearing that held the lagoon. I saw a figure lying down on the grass, blonde hair flying everywhere with the wind, not moving. Perrie. I ran over to her and tried to get her up.

"Perrie! Perrie, babe wake up?" I said desperately while shaking her lightly. She stirred but didn't wake up. My eyes travelled down her body and until I got to her ankle, everything was fine. It looks like she tripped over some root that was standing up out of the ground, and when she fell she must've hit her head hard. I picked her up bridal style, slowly. It was almost dark and I had to get us home. I began walking through the forest, following the 'path' I came by. I have pretty good memory, so we got out of the forest in no time. I was about to walk across the park when a voice stopped me.

"Where do you think you're going?"
