Michael's P.O.V

I just stood there, I didn't really want to move to be honest. Just staring at Perrie makes my heart beat a fraction faster than what it normally would. Electrifying blue eyes, full pink lips and blonde hair that was now pink. I don't know why she dyed it pink, it was perfect before. She looked up at me and smiled. Jesus Christ her smile just completes her perfect complexion. I don't even know why I let this amazing woman go.

"Uh, hi Michael.." Perrie said softly, looking down at her feet. She obviously didn't want Zayn to find out that we have been talking. But it's not like he can control her right?

"Hey Pez." I said with a soft smile in my face. As soon as I said her nickname that I gave her, she looked up and I saw a glint of happiness shine in her eyes.

"You haven't called me that in ages." She said, stating the obvious.

"Yeah, well, I haven't seen you in ages now have I?" I chuckled softly. Perrie just nodded and pulled me in for a hug. I was.. Slightly surprised at her actions. I did what any normal guy would do, I hugged her back. I slinked my arms around her waist and rested my head on hers, seeing as she had her head on my chest. I was slightly startled when I heard a cough from behind. I jumped away from Perrie and was immediately shoved into the wall.

"Don't. Touch. Her. Again."

Jesus Christ, can't this motherfucker fuck off? He has to be around Perrie every single minute of the day, to 'protect' her. From what? Oh that's right. People like me! The arrogant, self-centered ex boyfriend(friend, in Zayns case) who got stuck walking home when a stupid car drove through a puddle and I got drenched. Who walked an extra five-ten minutes to get to Perries house, to get shoved into a bathroom with spare clothes and who just got caught hugging someone's girlfriend intimately. I huffed and spat in Zayn's pretty little face.

"What's wrong, Malik? Not gonna let your girl socialize with other guys? She's not a child, ya know." I say in this sarcastic tone, and I can literally(ok not literally) hear the blood rushing through his veins.

"No. I let her. Just not with dickheads like you." He 'snarled'. I thought it was a pathetic attempt of trying be tough in front of Perrie. I laughed at his antics and 'politely' asked him to let go of me.

"Why should I?" Zayn said, tone dangerously low, that could have made anyone be scared. But not me. You know why? 'Coz I'm not a scared cat.

"Zayn.." I heard Perrie barely whisper.

"What babe?" He turned his attention away from me for a second but when he saw that Perrie was scared he caught me by surprise and punched me in the jaw, and let me drop to the floor. Bloody hell, he may be just a pretty face of a world famous boy-band, but Jesus that little shithead can punch.

I just sat there. I felt dizzy. I didn't move until I felt something on my arm. I flinched and looked up into those electrifying blue eyes that I fell in love with all those years ago.

"I'm sorry, Michael. Zayn's a bit overprotective." Perrie said softly.

"A bit?" I chuckled darkly. "He won't even let you walk around the house without having to keep an eye on you."

"Yes, I know tha-"

"If you know that then why don't you talk to him? You're not a Nintendo game where he controls what you do and where you walk Perrie! Speak up!" I finished my little rant and stood up slowly so I wouldn't get dizzy again. I walked to my room(their spare one), leaving Perrie sitting in the hallway.

Good one Michael. You should feel ashamed, she was only trying to help.

I sighed and sat down on the bed, putting my head in my hands.

If Perrie still has this effect on me, and Zayn is still overprotective, how am I going to get her away from the house without no one noticing?
