"AND THEN, the bitch of a teacher decided to embarrass me and make me answer the question can you believe that?"
Alex asks as she finishes her rant about how Mrs Monopia embarrassed her in front of the class.
"Thats exactly why her nickname around school is mono she probably has it-" Alex starts, making me laugh before we're rudely interrupted.
"Ahem can you guys pay attention? People are tryna get their food here." A guy from behind us said.
I turned around to see a boy. He's tall, though not as tall as Carson. He has a light brown skin complexion and braids. He's attractive but Carson looks better.
I shouldn't be comparing the two but cab you blame me?
I scowl at the boy as Alex slowly turns towards him.
"Excuse you?" She said through gritted teeth. One thing you should know is that Alex isn't someone to mess with.
"Are you deaf too I said pay attention." He scoffed before walking to the other line.
Me and Alex stared as he walked to the other side of the cafeteria.
"Can you believe him! Who the hell does he think he is?" Alex says in a menacing tone.
I shrug my shoulders, "I don't know girl, I have no idea."

Me and Alex are sat at our usual table in the corner.
She's been ranting about that line boy since he left. I love Alex but she can go on forever if nobody stops her.
"Hey Alex, Princesa" I hear the familiar voice cut off Alex's rambling.
Princesa he's taken a liking to calling me that.
We turn towards him - Carson - and see the line guy beside him. He scowls at us as he sits down.
"You!" Alex's voice raises as she points a finger. at him. Carson turns to me confused hut I just shake my head.
"This is my friend Devonte, Vonte for short." Carson says introducing us.
"Your friends a bitch," Alex speaks bluntly. Me and Carson hold back laughs as we watch the two glower at each other.
"Im not a bitch you just need to pay attention or are you so dumb you cant comprehend what I'm saying." Devonte sasses back.
Alex glare hardens as she jumps out her seat and reaches over the table.
"Okay thats enough," I finally speak up pulling Alex back down keeping an eye on her just incase.
"Bro you cant be mean to my friends like that apologize." Carson says causing Devonte to turn his disapproving scowl towards him.
Carson copies his action making Devonte roll his eyes. "Fine, I'm sorry." He speaks bitterly.
