She expects it to be like every other move. Move, make friends, have fun, and finally move again. But what happens when this certain town brings new opportunities for the young girl...

I've most definitely learned my lesson from yesterday. Plus because of them I got lost at least five times.
Today I decided to go to school earlier. It was warm out and seemed like walkable weather so I walked the 15 minutes here.
I entered through the school doors to find the halls empty. So empty you could put a hale bale in here and have it roll around like the movies.
LOL.
What it was funny.
Maybe there are more people in the classes, I think to myself as I make my way to my homeroom class.
When I walk in not even the teacher is in here. "Damn how early is it?" I mutter quietly to my self.
While looking around for some sort of clock any sort of clock my eyes land on a girl with long brown hair. I noticed her already looking at me and smiled.
Her eyes widend as she nervously smiled at me. I made my way over to her and sat in the desk next to hers.
I turned to her with a friendly smile on my face. "Hi I'm-" I don't finish before she cuts me off, "Imani, I know." She concludes.
I give her a confused look and she explains, "News about you and Carson's encounter has spread like wild fire in the last 24 hours, I think everyone at the school knows you." she summarizes for me.
My eyes widen and I hesitaintly nod. I wasn't supposed to gain attention here looks like that's failed.
"So whats your name?" I ask after a few seconds of awkward silence. She smiles brightly at me before answering. "Im Alexandra but you can call me Alex nice to officially meet you." She says out stretching one of her small hands and giving me a toothy grin.
I smile shaking her small hand.
"So," I start looking at Alex "mind telling me what people say about me?" I ask hopefully.
She laughs shaking her head but tells me nonetheless.
She explains how Carsons goons told some popular girl about the situation and how I'm the 'new girl' God I hate the label. Anyways the girl went around spreading rumors about me being Carson's new play toy which is very untrue. And now I'm the talk of the school just for being seen with Carson ONCE!
"Wow," I breath out staring at the ground taking in the new information. "Yeah, I do have one teeny question though," Alex vocalizes.
"Shoot," I tell her with a subtle nod. She opens her mouth then closes it again, jeez is it that bad? I think to myself when her voice cuts me off.
"Are you and Carson you know.. sleeping together?" Alex hesitantly asks making my eyes go wide. I probably look crazy but in my defense that question was crazily absurd.
"Oh God no," I spit in disgust. She stare wide eyed at me as well before nodding in understatement and sending me a nervous smile.
"Im not mad at you for asking I mean if I was you i'd be curious too but that thought just disgust me." I say shuddering at the though, me and Carson hell no.
She was about to reply when the bell rings. Damn how long have we been talking. Students begin to file into the classroom as well as the teacher.
Examining my surroundings something I tend to do a lot my eyes fall on the guy that has me in this mess.
Carson Black.
I must've been staring for to long because her hazel eyes met mine and he smirked. He sent me a cocky and obnoxious wink making me scowl.
I give him the bird not before making sure the teacher wasn't looking. He burst out laughing which the teacher scolded him for.
I roll my eyes turning back around to see Alex staring at our encounter just now with a quizzical look.
"Earth to Alex are you okay?" I ask flashing my hand in front of her eyes. Her eyebrows shoot up as she snaps out of whatever she was in and nods.
"You sure yall don't have something going on yall look really close." She says putting emphasis on the word 'really' making me scrunch my nose up in distaste.
"I swear Alex there's nothing going on, heck I didn't know his name till yesterday and plus he's really annoying." I finish stating my dislike for the curly head boy whos currently sitting a few desks away.
She looks at me before a knowing look flashes In her eyes making me raise a brow in question. She nods a small smile playing on her lips making me even more confused.
"What?" I pressure wanting to know what it is that has her looking like that but she only tells me nothing despite my protests.
"Oh look class is starting." She says turning to the front and pretending to look fatuated with what was up there. There was nothing.
I roll my eyes but turn up front as well.
The teacher finally started talking and that was the start to my second day at Savannah High.
