« I would like to talk to you about... your fiancé. »

Emma didn't like the tone the man spoke to her.

« I'm sorry to be the one to tell you this but... »

Emma's eyes widened as a gasp escaped her.

She didn't want to believe it. She waited for the worse.

« The visit's hours changed again. You're good for today but here. Just in case you want to keep a copie of the new schedule. »

The doctor gave her a paper where it was written the new schedule of the visit's hours. God! Why did he had to scare her like that!?

« Thank you, sir! What about Norman's health? »

« Just some good news actually! His healt got a lot better. He should be able to get out of the hospital soon. We just need to make a few more check ups to be sure he's fully alright and he should be good to go. »

Emma couldn't help the smile that grew on her face.

« That's wonderful! Thank you so much, Doctor. »

« No problem at all. It's my job after all. »

She thanked the doctor once again before making her way to Norman's room. She had the biggest grin on her lips when she entered the room. Norman's smile was equally as big as her.

« Did the doctor told you? »

« That I would be able to leave soon? Yeah, he told me earlier this morning. »

Emma let out a chuckle as she sat on the chair beside the bed after putting James on the bed. The little boy crawled his way to his father's side before looking up at the older one.

« James! Dad will be able to come back home with us for good! »

The little white-haired boy let out a happy giggle as he hugged his father. Norman hugged him back with a chuckle. Emma joined them in the hug.

It was indeed a few days later, after some check ups and making sure his health would not worsen again, that Norman could leave the hospital.

The doctor had told them to come back in a few weeks for some check ups, just to be sure that everything was still alright.

Snowball had been so excited when he saw Norman enter the house. The dog hadn't left the white-haired young man's side since the latter entered the house. Emma was finding it funny and cute.

The ginger-haired young woman was excited. They would finally be able to get married! They just had to finish the preparations for it.

She had just put James to bed and joined Norman in the living room. Emma hugged her fiancé from the side, making him look at her.

« So, now that you're back, we can finally get married! »

Norman let out a chuckle as he turned around to be facing his fiancé.

« You're right, but may I remind you that we still need to finish the preparations? »

Emma pouted before a smile appeared on her lips.
