Note: I still really like the illustration I put for the cover
I still think it turned out amazing, even if I can spot a few mistakes here and there but it's nothing too big compared to some of my other old illustrations

Note (from ao3): I'm just realizing now that we're almost at the end of this fic guys

I'm hardly believing it, but the end of this fic is coming closer and closer and I don't like that 😞

But, enjoy this chapter!

Ray and Anna had left for their honeymoon. Norman and Emma were taking care of the renovations of the bakery.

While they were waiting for the counters of the kitchen and the front of the cafe to be installed, they took that time to start the preparations for their own wedding.

They weren't in a hurry to get married, so they took their time with it. They wanted to wait for Gilda and Anna to give birth before getting married.

Gilda had given birth two months later to a healthy little boy they had named Loid. The little boy had the green hair of his mother. He had the tan skin of his father alongside his brown eyes.

Everyone had went to see them at the hospital when the big day had come. Loid was born on the hot day of the 20th of June.

Everyone was extremely happy, especially the new parents.

Seven months later, it was Anna's turn. Just like in their previous life, their little girl had decided to come say hi to them on January 15. At Ray's birthday.

They had never seen Ray this nervous in this life. He was pacing in front of the delivery room. Norman and Emma, that we're keeping him company, tried the more they could to reassure him. Norman could even say that his brother was even more nervous than in their previous life.

When Ray's eyes first landed on the small baby girl in the arms of Anna, he knew everything was perfect. Like, he had his mother. He had his two best friends. He had the love of his life. And he had his baby girl. What more could he ask for?

That was also making him scared. He remembered how everything went down hill at this exact date. Ray didn't want that to happen again. At least Norman was healthy and had someone to look out for him all the time in this life.

As the little girl in his wife's arms grabbed his finger, Ray smiled softly.

« Welcome home, Revna. »

The renovations for the cafe took longer Thant they expected. It had almost been a year now that the cafe was closed. None of them minded as it let them free time.

Ray could be more with his daughter. Norman and Emma wanted to find themselves a house they could live in together with Snowball. So they took this time to look for one. They hadn't forgotten about their wedding. They took that time to prepare it too. They just wanted to wait for the cafe to be fully finish. And to find themselves a house.

They had found themselves a house not too far from the cafe. While he was looking for some nice houses, Norman had fell something really interesting.

« C'est pas vrai... elle est toujours là. »

Emma raised her head to look at him. Even after all this time living with him, she still didn't understand a single word of what he was saying when he was starting to speak French. He had taught her the basics, but even there she had difficulty.
