I wanted to end the story at that part since the beginning. I actually started writing this story just for the final scene and because I wanted to write a modern story

I changed the illustration for this chapter so many times before it becomes what it is now
I'm proud of it and I love it a lot and I hope you'll like it too!

« Wake up sleeping beauty. »

Norman woke up with a grunt. Ray had just opened the curtains to wake him up. Letting out a sigh, he looked at the time.

« It's... 5:30 in the morning, Ray. Why are you waking me up this early? »

Ray rolled his eyes at the way his brother was about to fall back asleep. The raven young man grabbed the covers and yanked them away. His brother let out an other grunt as he finally took a sitting position.

« Have you forgotten what day it is today, my dear emperor? »

Norman looked at his brother with his "cold emperor glare", like Ray liked to call it. He let out a sigh.

« It's too early. It's in the afternoo- »

« Yeah and we need to get you ready. So get your ass out of bed and come join us downstairs. »

Ray left the bedroom at the same time James entered it. The little boy jumped on the bed and hugged his father. Norman hugged his son back.

« Good morning, James. »

« Goo mornin Papa! Breakfast's ready! »

With a chuckle, the white-haired young man got out of bed and took his son in his arms before joining the others for breakfast.

On Emma's side, it wasn't less calm. Emma also got woken up by Gilda opening the bedroom's curtains. She almost fell back asleep but, thanks to Loid, Don and Gilda's son, and Snowball she didn't fall back asleep.

She went to eat breakfast and, after dressing up in something simple, Gilda brought Emma to their friends' hair salon. Gillian had happily made her hair after Paula, Sonya and Violet took care of her skin, nails and makeup. Emma didn't even recognized herself after they were done. Even Snowball had right to a haircut!

It had taken all morning so after they went to eat, Gilda dragged her to where the ceremony would take place. They did a last check up to make sure everything was alright before the green-haired young woman dragged her to her changing room.

Gillian and Paula had joined them a bit later to make sure Emma's hair and makeup would be fine.

It wasn't more relax for Norman. Right after finishing eating and getting dressed, Ray dragged his brother to their friends' hair salon. The goldy Pond girls didn't have only women as customers, they also had men.

The girls took care of him right after taking care of Emma. They even took care of James, by the little one's demand. Norman and Emma never met each other so they had no idea the other had came here almost at the same time. But of course, it was all planned by Ray and Gilda since the beginning.
