"I believe in love. I believe in you. I believe in everything the two of us can do. I believe in miracles. I've seen them all come true. So, won't you take a chance with me—because I believe in you." - Jed Madela, I Believe In You
Chapter Seventeen: You'll Love Me Too, That's For Sure
Dear 'Whimsical' Diary,
Have you ever been mentally jealous with someone? Like in your head, you've already done all the possible scenarios on how to get rid off the culprit—but in reality, you're just silently praying that your suffering will end soon? Well, that's what I'm feeling right now. Here I am, watching Peter play volleyball with Julie. Yeah, the brown-haired girl who looks so pretty even under the striking sun. She looks gorgeous from head to toe. However, I'm really curious as to why the two of them broke up. But I think I already have an idea, diary. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not a judgmental person—but I just feel like perhaps this is the answer to my question. I mean, look at her. Sure, she's pretty from head to toe, but her attitude just can't keep up with her beauty. If you know what I mean. ;)
I could tell that she's still interested with Peter. The way she acts in front of him is already enough for me to know. Jules is like Tina. Do you remember the talk-show host? Yeah, she's like her in so many ways. Like for example, she wants to be the center of attraction. Oh, and she doesn't take no for an answer. In other words, she's the diva. So, yeah, I guess that's the reason why Peter split up with her.
Speaking of Peter, he's acting pretty weird. He keeps on winking at me, and that earns me death glares from Julie, by the way. I know that he's just acting, but it makes my heart feel so confuse. Well, I just can't resist his charm. His eyes are so beautiful that if I'll ever get a chance to stare at it the whole day round without looking like a retarded lady, I'll do it right away. And whenever he's around—my heart doubles up its speed. Like all of sudden, it feels like I'm in a race. I wish that there'll come a time when I can spend a day with him—far from all the nuisances around us. Just Peter and I under a tree in a starry night. The place is peaceful and everything is perfect—just like in the movies. Sadly, romantic scenes in movies doesn't exist. Well, I can always daydream about it, right? :)
Uh oh. The evil prince is coming. Yes, I'm talking about Zach Reynolds. I'm starting to hate him again. He keeps on teasing me about Peter and Julie. According to him, Peter still likes Jules and there's a possible chance that they'll get back together. Like, hello? I'm the girlfriend, right? Oh, wait. I'm not. But still, it's not right for him to tell me that. Arrgh. I can no longer continue this entry. I'm sorry, but I have to go now.
Thanks for listening, diary. You're still the best "non-existent" friend to me.
All the love,
Clarie
P.S.
Can you take Zach and Julie out of my life please? Like, now?

"Clarie!" I heard someone shouted to me. "Watch out!"
When I looked up, I saw the ball approaching my direction. And since my pretty dense mind couldn't process things immediately, the ball hit my face. Hard. It felt like the whole world spun around and I was thrown away from reality. However, the hurt I suffered from the ball was definitely worth it because that earned me a hug from Peter. Yes, he hugged me so tight I almost wanted to cry. He was really worried, and that made me feel happy inside. I was happy because Peter cared about me. That even though he was just acting, it still touched my heart in the best way.
"Are you alright?" he said and brushed off the wind-swept hair on my face. "Don't ever do that again, Clarie."
"I'm perfectly fine," I said and smiled a little. "Just a little dizzy, but I'm alright. Thanks by the way."
