"Make a wish, and you shall receive it!" - Guessing Sparkles
Chapter Three: "Wait, You're Talking To Me?"
"Hey, wait up!" I cried as I followed the mysterious man through the woods.
He didn't look back and just continued walking away from me. I couldn't see his face. The mysterious man was taller than me and had a well-built body too, if I might add. As we walked a little more inside the forest, the surrounding was getting darker and darker. My heart was throbbing inside my chest. The forest reminded me so much of the horror movie I just watched the other night, which was so scary.
"Hey, please wait for me!" I cried once more, but he still kept on walking away from me.
I continued on following him and payed no attention from all the creepy trees surrounding the place. When I opened my eyes awhile ago, I found myself lying down on the cold ground. There were no houses around, and I was no longer inside my comfy bedroom. The place was like a mysterious, ghost town. Trust me, I tried slapping my face hard awhile ago to wake me up from this bad dream— but it was useless. I was still trapped in this awful nightmare.
The whole place was so dark that I didn't notice there was a rock on the ground. I stumbled down and had my head bumped against the hard wood. My vision became blurry and the last thing that registered in my mind was the image of a man looking down at me. After that, everything was pitch black.

Ring… Ring… Ring…
I opened my eyes and found out that I was inside my bedroom. There were no creepy trees around; the room was filled with light coming from the sun and most of all— there was no mysterious man walking alone in a spooky forest. It was a big relief for me, actually. Half of my heart was happy to know that it was just a dream, but the other half still wanted to see who the mysterious man was. My intuition told me that perhaps the man had something to do with my future. According to legends, dreaming about a mysterious man meant that you'll find your prince charming soon. But then again, it was just a legend and there were no evidences that it was indeed factual.
I reached for the alarm clock and turned it off. When I turned to my side, I saw Mr. Elvis sitting comfortably on my bed. He was still wearing the same cloth that made him look like someone who came from primitive era. I sat up on the bed and rolled my eyes. The clock said it was only 6 o'clock in the morning, too early for him to visit and bug me again.
"Well, aren't you going to wish me a good morning?" he said, clearly trying to irritate me even more. "A friend payed you an early visit, he sure deserves a warm greeting, right?"
"Good morning, Mr. Elvis," I said sarcastically. "Thank you so much for being here. Oh, I'm lucky to have a friend like you. Now, is that what you want to hear?"
"Close enough," he said and settled down on the chair next to my bed.
"What brings you here again?" I said and went out of bed to comb my messy hair. "Oh, let me guess, you have another book with you, right?"
"You're funny, but no that's not the reason why I'm here," he said and took the picture frame on the nightstand. "Oh look at you, so young back then. Have I told you lately that you look so much like Josephine?"
