Proposal

Leo's pov

I had been feeling nervous for the past few days and I knew that the people around me were noticing. The reason I was so nervous was because I was planning on asking Y/n to marry me. I had planned it all out but I was scared of rejection.

~ The day of the proposal ~

I woke up early and watched my girlfriend, who'd soon be my fiance, sleeping peacefully beside me. I watched as she opened her eyes and smiled softly when she realised that I was staring at her.

"Morning" I greeted her

"Morning she replied, with a yawn

I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her in for a hug, "Are you ready for our beach day?" I asked.

She replied with a happy sound and a smile. I wasn't bothered by her sound and one-word answers as she was normally like this when she first wakes up. At least until she has something to eat and a cup of coffee.

Before long we were making our way down to the beach hand in hand. I was glad when I saw that the beach was practically empty. We set up in a secluded area.

After a long swim and eating the lunch we made together I decided that this was the perfect time. While her back was turned I got down on one knee and opened the box. I didn't wait long before she turned around.

"Leo, did you..." she trailed off with her eyes widening.

"Y/n will you be the happiest man on earth and marry me" I asked. I had hardly got out the last word before she tackled me into a hug.

"Yes! 1000 times yes!" she shouted before pulling me into a deep kiss. This was our first kiss as an engaged couple. I smiled into the kiss and pulled her closer.

Neymar's Pov

I was just walking down the street thinking about how I wanted to marry Y/n. After so many of our friends had gotten married in the past two years I couldn't help but want that with Y/n. I knew that she was definitely the one. She was smart and funny. Not to mention beautiful and put up with my jokes.

I made sure that there wasn't anybody around before walking into a jewellery shop. I didn't need pictures of my visit getting out.

Two hours later I walked out of the shop smiling. I was happy to have found the perfect ring. I was glad that I knew Y/n's size already having gone shopping for a ring beforehand with her. I now had to plan the proposal. I sighed. This was harder than finding a ring. The proposal had to be perfect. My first thoughts were at a fancy restaurant or after a romantic meal at home but they weren't our style. I also didn't want to do it in public and wanted it to be just us. I looked out the window into the backyard and had the perfect idea. She had loved our first date and we had said we'd do it again sometime but never got round to doing it.

~ The day of the proposal ~

I ended up recreating our first date and at the end of the last movie I got down on one knee and opened up the box towards her.

"Ney" she whispered staring at me

"Y/n Y/l/n, I love you so much not only are you funny and smart but you're also the most beautiful woman I've ever met. Will you marry me?"

She nodded with tears in her eyes and I slid the ring onto her finger before pulling her into a kiss.

That night I dreamed about a life together with Y/n with our arms wrapped around each other.

Ronaldo's pov

I knew I wanted to propose to Y/n but wasn't sure how. I sighed as I scrolled through all my friends' ideas before deciding to mix two of the ideas in one.

I planned to propose in the evening to make it as romantic as possible and spent the whole day getting ready. I asked my teammates for help as well as Y/B/F to keep her entertained for the whole day.

The proposal

I had set up all my teammates with signs that spell out 'Will you marry me?' and in front of them I kneeled in front of them with the ring. I had also used candles to lighten the area. I closed my eyes as I waited for Y/n to arrive.

I heard a gasp. I opened my eyes and saw Y/n standing there looking absolutely gorgeous. I smiled at her as she came forward.

"Y/n, I can't imagine life without you, so will you make me the happiest man in the world and marry me?"

I watched as a tear ran down her cheek before she nodded and I placed the ring on her finger. We embraced and had our first kiss as an engaged couple. After we kissed I turned to my friends/teammates who produced champaign from the coolers behind them and we celebrated.
