Ash got in the passenger seat beside the driver, while Serena sat in the back seat with sylveon and pikachu, while melody sat on Ash's lap, curiously watching the different views, it was almost evening so there was no sun in the sky , the journey to kukui's house wasn't too long and reached there soon,

Kukui parked his jeep and they walked upto the maindoor, ash was the first one to enter inside,

"I'm home! "

Burnet rushed out of the kitchen as soon as she heard his voice she walked upto him and hugged him

"Welcome back Ash"

She pulled back from the hug, and smiled she looked at serena who was standing next to him, with her holding melody, which reminded burnet of how lillie held snowy,

"And you must be Princess serena, right? , it's nice to meet you"

"Nice to meet you too Ms.Burnet, ash told me about you, and please call me Serena only"

"My my , what a beautiful girl you are aren't you, of course I shouldn't expect anything else from the kalos queen"

A little red tint dusted serena's cheek "thank you for your praise, Prof."

"You can call me burnet only "

"No, please you're older than me I can't do that "

Burnet smiled, "if you don't mind saying that again and again, then it's fine, ohy bad both of you sit down for a while you might be tired, I will bring you something to drink "

"Prof. Where's Lei? "

"Oh, he's asleep, he would be awake soon, and then keep us awake at night" She sweatdropped "now come on tell me which fruit smoothie would you two like to have"

Kukui Sweatdropped, her wife didn't even paid any attention to him, he was also out for the whole day, he sighed, hung the keys of his jeep on a keyholder next to the door and joined the others,

Burnet and Serena were having a blast it seemed like they knew each other for ages although knowing each other for only about 2 to 3 hours, Serena also had fun playing with lei,she loved babies and lei was so adorable, for a moment she wondered what if she and ash married and what would their children look like, but She was quickly broken out of her chain of thoughts by Lei ,

For some reason melody and lei went along too well, maybe because of their age, or some arceus knows what reason, babies either them be pokemon, or human they can never be understood,

Ash and kukui were helping setting up the plates on the dining table, while Serena helped bringing out all the various dishes Burnet made to the table, after everything was setup Ash and Serena called out their pokemons Serena had her full team , while ash only had 4 pokemons (a quarter of his carry limit) with him, which were Pikachu, lucario, Greninja, and lycanroc the last one being very happy to see the professors,

They had some special alolan dishes for dinner , which ash chomped down on,like every time they sat in the living room talking with each other for a while, Lei just continued to play with the pokemons, who also were enjoying themselves playing with a little baby except greninja and lucario they were fighters not babysitters ,

Although when delphox was playing with lei and melody, greninja stole a few glances of her which unfortunately for him didn't went unnoticed by lucario

"So, did you stole a few glances of her ,lover boy?" Lucario said pointing at delphox who was busy playing with lei and melody,

Greninja controlled his blush, and said "I don't even know what are you even talking about "

"Oh really? , you can't lie to your best friend you know "
