Serena woke up from her slumber, she got down from the bunk bed stretching out her hands , melody was still asleep so she decided to wake her up later, what else does babies do? Play, eat, sleep, repeat, nothing else to do, serena saw that nor ash nor pikachu was there ,

Serena stretched her hands, 'I really had a good sleep'

She went into the bathroom to freshen up, after she was done She went out of the room and saw burnet cooking something in the kitchen both, kukui and ash weren't there, and she assumed that lei is also probably asleep

"Morning Prof. Burnet "

Burnet turned around and saw her walking towards her, "good morning serena, had a good sleep? "

"Yeah" She replied "Prof. Where is ash and Prof. Kukui? "

"Oh they both are gone out for some work, they would be back In a few hours and after that they would be leaving for that PLA stuff to be honest I don't really understand all that official stuff "

Seran giggled, "anything I can help with Prof.? "

"No thanks serena it's almost dome anyway, so let's have breakfast then"

Burnet served the breakfast and they both ate their food, light conversation filled the air,

"So serena do you know that Ash's birthday is coming in the next month?,"

"Yeah..., I know "

Burnet glanced at her, she was spacing out, most probably thinking about something

"Serena you fine? , you're spacing out something bothering you? "

"Oh, no-no it's nothing"

"So tell me Serena what do you think of ash? "

Serena blinked a few times, surprised a red blush dusted her cheeks as she realised what she asked"H-he's nice, energetic ,confident, he respects others, he cares for his friends, family and pokemons, he can easily lift up someone's spirits , he's liked by everybody, hecs passionate, he's very important for me , his eyes are enchating, they draw me closer to him, I want to get more closer to him he looks handsome,i admire him a lot, I want to be with hi-"she abruptly stopped,covering her mouth with her hand,her face going all red, those words just slipped out of her mouth, her eyes were widened in horror, that burnet might tell ash what she said

"I-i-i'm sorry , please don't think I'm weird please, and please don't tell him this" She squeaked in embarrassment, holding her hands together as if like praying,

Burnet let out a laugh, serena looked at her confused "Don't worry about it serena, I won't tell him, you don't have to be so worked up about it"

"T-thank you, I-i will get the pokemons" She said as she suddenly got up from her chair and hurried off to her room, she went in pulled out her pokeballs from her bag and let them out, she woke up melody, and held the baby pokemon in her arms, the pokemons except melody were confused about her behaviour, she was looking flustered of course they didn't knew about what she just said , although sylveon being able to take up on her trainer's emotions had a faint idea that she must have been teased by someone, it can't be that guy with the white cap, so it must be that white haired woman,

Serena gave her pokemons their breakfast , she was teased a few times by burnet she was relieved when she stopped, for the rest of the time she played with pokemons at the beach until ash and kukui were back, it was almost the time of lunch ,

Ash and the others had their lunch ,ash and kukui had an hour or two before they had to go to the main PLA's office for the registration of the Elite Four ,
