As I rummage through the storage closet, I manage to find the round and soft sleeping bag, still kept in its wrapping. As I pull it out, some old trophies and hats fall out, causing me to groan. I bend down, picking them up and placing them back where they were.

I suddenly spot an interesting totem beneath a few old papers. Picking it up, I realize it's my dad's old USB drive. It has the Oscorp symbol on it. I give a thoughtful hum before putting it in my pocket, shutting the closet door with my hand.

I begin to return back to where Gwen and my mom were. Gwen seems to be waiting by the door, patiently waiting for me to return with an almost sad look on her face. "Gwen." I wave my hand as her face lightens up, seeing as I've come back.

She follows me with a slow stride as I peek into the living room, seeing my mom watching TV on the couch. I lead Gwen into my room, closing the door behind me while still holding the sleeping bag in my hand. "Do you need help with that?" Gwen offers as she reaches out her hand to take it.

I pull it away from her. "Do you not realize that you literally have cuts and bruises all over your body right now?" I chuckle before smirking and kneeling down on the floor next to my bed. Gwen scoffs while crossing her arms. "That doesn't mean I can't set up a sleeping bag."

I pucker my lips, raising my eyebrows. "Nope, I think.. it does." I sheepishly smile before pulling the soft cushion from the bag and setting it up on the floor. I stand up, pressing my lips together. "Yikes. This does not look.. comfortable." I examine the small sleeping bag, full of dust and dirt.

I look at Gwen with a mischievous smirk. "Well, guess you're sleeping in here tonight." I let out a small puff of air before standing up properly. Gwen shakes her head with a grin and furrowed eyebrows. "The hell I am!"

I gesture to the sleeping bag. "Where else do you have to sleep? Please, enlighten me." I cross my arms with a raised eyebrow. Gwen presses her lips together. "Your bed looks pretty comfortable."

I scoff. "No! I am not sleeping in this dusty bag when you get to sleep in my own nicely made bed." I glance to the side and back at Gwen as she shrugs. "Well.. I did just save the city again from a big villain. Don't I deserve something?" She says in sarcastic tone.

My head is pushed back a little as she says that. I smirk, taking a step closer to her. "Gwen Stacy, the only thing you deserve is that sleeping bag I just set up for you." I exclaim in a defiant voice before pointing my finger at her chest.

"Are you serious right now?" Gwen raises both her eyebrows, opening her mouth slightly to reveal the gap in between her front teeth. "I'm literally an injured person in your room right now." She states with a chuckle before stepping closer to me.

I suck in the air between my teeth, considering my decision. I then bite my lip, rolling my eyes. "You know what, fine. Since you're so injured, I'll be a nice girlfriend and let you have the bed."

"That's the best decision you've made so far." Gwen nods, smirking before I smile back. I turn around as I glance at the sleeping bag. "The things I do for you." I sigh, running a hand through my hair.

Suddenly, Gwen hugs me from behind, catching me off guard as my eyes widen. I look down, seeing her hands around my waist. "You okay?" I feel her rub her head against my shoulder. Gwen looks down with a pained expression. "Yeah.. I'm okay." She replies with an unconvincing tone.

A worried expression appears on my face at her sudden change of mood. I put my hands around her hands, trying to look behind me. "You don't sound very okay.. What's wrong?" I ask, trying to peek at her buried face.
