From the distance, Captain George Stacy squints as he stands in the middle of a crowded street in New York. "Huh? Wait.. Is that a letter 'T' or an 'A'?" He looks at the report of the exploded apartment building, trying to read the words. "Stacy, just write down the address already." His partner replies, groaning slightly as she rubs in between her eyes. "Don't you have a daughter to get home to? You've been here for the past 4 hours."

She groans, taking the clipboard from him as ambulances and firetrucks begin to leave the scene. The captain widens his eyes. "H-Hey! I was doing that!" He furrows his eyebrows a little. "Get your reading glasses on, or I'm going to finish this whole report by the time you stop complaining." She replies, fixing the bun in her hair as she adjusts her police cap. His partner holds an umbrella over his head, clearly tired. He sighs, throwing his hands up.

"Alright, alright. No need to be so cranky.." He lets out a small smile, walking over to his parked police car on the side of the road. Captain George Stacy peeks into his car, unlocking it with a beep and a jingle to his keys. He leans into the driver's seat, reaching his hand over to open the compartment box. Glancing at the photo of him and his family near the rear view mirror, he smiles a little, about to reach for his glasses case before he hears a large explosion. Captain Stacy bumps his head against the roof of the car, trying to get out.

He looks out the front mirror of the car, seeing an array of colors spreading across the city in a passing wind. It crosses his path as he closes his eyes, the colors passing by him as he opens his eyes again, stepping out of the car with a shocked expression on his face. He glances towards his partner, running towards her in a haste. "The hell was that?!" He shakes his head as his partner nods quickly.

She looks just as surprised as he is. "It came from above! I don't know!" She shrugs, throwing up her arms. There's suddenly static on the radio, revealing a voice. "Code red. Bystanders have reported an explosion on Oscorp Tower. We have currently identified Spiderwoman on the scene with an unidentified girl, as well as Doctor Octopus. Other suspects have been spotted emerging from the explosion." His eyes widen as he hears that one name.. Spiderwoman. The voice on the radio clicks as Captain Stacy grabs it with two of his fingers, leaning his head towards his shoulder. "This is Captain Stacy, responding to the scene with Sergeant Pam."

"Wow.. interested now?" His partner furrows her eyebrows as he raises his eyebrow with a knowing expression. "Look, this might be our night. And maybe I'll finally be able to close this case." He lets out a determined look. Both of them nod towards each other, running towards their police cruisers as they hold onto their hats. Captain Stacy lays his cap down in the passenger seat as he puts his car into drive, stepping onto the gas.

He furrows his eyebrows and races through the streets, turning on his sirens as the operator voice on the radio continues with chatter between different members of the police force responding to the call. The loud beeps are heard throughout the city as red and blue lights reflect in the sprinkled rain.

He focuses on the road, honking his horn when needed as his sirens blare in the distance. Captain Stacy follows his partner, tapping his finger on the wheel as he sighs. "Always Oscorp.. God, I hate that place.." He mutters under his breathe, the engine roaring as the car skirts faster across the streets.

Picking up his phone quickly, seeing he missed a call from Gwen, he calls her back. No response. It turns into a voicemail as he sighs with a small smile. "Hey. I'm gonna be back around midnight or.. somewhere around there. Don't wait up for me. I'll be alright." His car turns onto a street, more police cruisers and first responders following after him. He taps the end call button and puts down his phone onto the arm rest. He steps on the brake, his cruiser parking in an impromper position as he gets his gun out.
