"We have to proceed with our plans, or else we will never finish in time!" Doctor Octavius bangs onto the table with her fist as a bed ridden man sits before her.

"If.. what you are saying is true, it could potentially be a cure for me.." He says in a weak voice. He then breathes out heavily, trying to suck the air into his lungs. "But.. the police have their eyes on us, we can't... make a move yet-"

"What do you meant we can't?! You're dying from your illness, and.. I'm dying to do this project." She sighs, putting a hand to her forehead. "Norman, come on." She takes a step towards his bedside, sitting beside him. "Why don't I take charge on this whole debaccle? Hm? You seem.. busy enough with all that's going on with you.

Doctor Octavius waves her hands around. "I'll keep it under cover and away from the news." She raises both her eyebrows, nodding slightly. Norman stays oddly still, facing towards he ceiling as he slowly turns his head to face the doctor. "I said.. no, Liv. It's too dangerous.. The company is already at risk for covering up the death of an employee.. and Dr. Connors' situation." He mumbles in a hoarse voice.

"B-But I already have a whole team set up! One with Midtown's best and brightest." Octavius says in a pleading voice. Norman laughs, wheezing slightly. "The team with a 16 year old girl?" He continues chuckling to himself, but suddenly coughs loudly as a result of it.

Doctor Octavius doesn't look like she's having it. Norman waves a dismissive hand. "Go home, Octavius. We both know you have no idea what you're doing." He mumbles before turning back his head to face the ceiling and closing his eyes.

Doctor Octavius's face scrunches as she stands up, seeing that Norman wants to be left alone. She turns her back, walking past some armed guards. Octavius closes the door gently, clenching her fists after sighing. "Oh, you have no idea what I'm capable of, Norman."

She walks into the elevator, pressing a button to travel to the basement. She then takes out her phone, dialing an unknown number. "Hello?" Someone picks up on the other end. "Hey, it's Liv. Any more leads you have for me?"

The person on the other end shuffles through some papers. "There's a ward down south hosting some plutonium and uranium. It just recently got shipped." Doctor Octavius gazes at the brightly lit city below her through the elevator windows. "The shipment is part of the company Kratos. They uh.. manufacture nuclear reactors, stuff like that."

Her face lightens up. Doctor Octavius steps out of the elevator, seeing she's arrived at her destination. "Great. I'll get on that by tonight.. Oh! Could you also notify all team members that we're going to be starting? And don't worry about the young one, I'll tell her myself.." She hangs up the phone, putting it into her lab coat pocket and scurrying towards a particular mechanism.

The doctor looks up, examining the four metal tentacles that lay dormant in front of her. She looks at the rest of the gadgets and armouries, hosted each in their own cubicle as she turns back to the one faced in front of her. She chuckles, feeling excited.

"No one is going to stop me from doing this.. not even Norman Osborn or even.. Spiderwoman."

I flutter my eyes open, the bright sunlight in the room makes it impossible for me to fall back asleep. I glance at the clock beside my bed.
