"i need to restock on candy," said aiya as she dragged sae to a convenience store. she went straight for the snacks and candy isle with a basket and started filling it up.
he looked at the junk food disapprovingly, "you're gonna get cavities with all this sugar."
"you're just jealous your football career requires you to have a strict diet," aiya rolled her eyes at his scolding. "now kindly fuck off and let me eat my sweets in peace."
"you dragged me here with you," deadpanned sae.
she dropped the half-filled basket into his hands, forcing him to carry it for her. he glared at her mischievous grin.
"help me find the lollipops," the girl stuck her tongue out at him childishly.
sae lightly smacked her forehead, causing the younger girl to yelp and rub her head.
"say please."
"fuck you, itoshi."
sae looked at her in disbelief before reaching behind her to grab a pack of lollipops. he saw her eyes brightened immediately at the sight of the sweet treat. she then continued to grab two more packs of lollipops, putting them in the basket he was holding.
the two walked to the cashier while sae had a mean glare and aiya with an excited smile. the employee quickly scanned all the items and said the total price of all the products. just as aiya was about to pull out some money, sae already gave the employee heaps of cash.
"hey! i was going to pay, it's my food!"
sae ignored her protests, grabbing the bag of sweets and taking his change. he grabbed the back of her head, pushing her and led them out of the store.
aiya grumbled under her breath, "i'll pay you back."
"i don't want you to."
the girl reached in the bag and took out two lollipops, unwrapping both and giving one to sae. sae was never really one for sweets but he could not ever decline her.
aiya sucked on the strawberry flavored lollipop contently, "thank you sae, they're my favorite."
itoshi sae loves lollipops.
