"rin kissed me."it's been over a month since the dinner with his parents and rin. it took everything in sae to try and forget the interaction between rin and aiya. but it irked him to no ends knowing how close those two were.
he didn't know how close specifically, but still, he can't let anyone have her. selfishly, not even his own brother.
"oh," he replied blankly. "how did that happen?"
aiya leaned her head on his shoulder as they watched the ocean in front of them, "last night, he took me to a rooftop. we were just talking one moment and then we didn't talk for a while."
she paused in deep thinking and he finally had the courage to look at her.
"yeah and?"
"he just grabbed my face and kissed me. we didn't really talk afterwards, he just walked me home and that was it."
that little shit, i hope he eats dirt on the field.
"are you with him now?" asked sae in a weird tone.
she hummed, "i don't know."
sae pushed her head off his shoulder, looking to the side, "he was always obvious about his feelings for you. don't you feel the same way?"
aiya looked down, "feelings don't guarantee a relationship, sae."
"you're making it complicated when it doesn't need to be," scoffed sae, crossing his arms.
"i'm not happy with myself, i don't think i can give rin what he deserves."
sae sat up and cupped her face gently in his hands. with fierce and certainty in his words, "you give more than what people deserve."
he couldn't look away from her eyes that were slowly losing their spark day by day. he wanted it back and if it meant her being happy with his brother, then so be it.
itoshi sae loves her gray eyes.
