"you didn't visit last month," stated aiya. "are you okay?"
for the first time, sae didn't visit last month so he hasn't seen her in nearly two months. he doesn't have any excuse for her nor did he want to lie. they were on the rooftop of aiya's home, watching the stars above them.
truthfully sae was tempted to not visit for this month as well but the only time he could catch a breath of fresh air was when he was with her.
"i thought i didn't need to since you have rin now," answered sae honestly but there was an edge to his tone.
it hurts.
she scoffed at him, "rin and i don't know where we stand with each other anymore. he kisses me so randomly but he never speaks about his feelings for me. it's just confusing so i don't know if we're even together."
"my little brother is stupid, huh."
and i'm a hypocrite for never speaking about my feelings for you as well.
aiya gasped suddenly and pointed up to the sky in excitement, "a shooting star! quick, sae, make a wish!"
i wish i could kiss you right now.
"okay."
"what'd you wish for?" asked aiya.
he gave her a blank stare, "wishes don't come true if you tell them to someone."
"lame, i'll tell you mines."
"go ahead."
her face dropped slowly, letting out a small chuckle, "i wished for you and rin to be happy."
